IIT Bombay Fees Structure & Courses 2024

Talking about academics its bit chill in first year. Specifically talking about my department, it is considered to be the 3rd best branch after C.S and E.E. Some tech companies open only for C.S, E.E, B.S Maths and E.P. Of course, E.P is research-oriented branch and it’s academically heavy and a bit difficult than other courses but if you have keen interest in physics and like to know about concepts in depth than it's the branch you should aim of. Of course, if your priority changes within four years you can go for placement too. Almost every Non-Core company opens for E.P, some EE core companies and some special tech companies which only open for top branches. Definitely you can opt this branch but only if you are interested in research and want to know everything in depth and you should be aware that you have to study hard, you won't get free time as much as other department, it will be hard to explore other things, so decide wisely.Read Full Review

In Indian of Technology Bombay academics is very tight. Professors of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay conduct exams in very short regular intervals. Here they teach very high-level of science. Students of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay should be prepared for any exam any time. I'm currently in first year of Chemical Engineering. First year courses are same for all i.e., everyone has to study all those courses. Some of them are pretty cool and easy to understand and score but on the other side, some are pretty hectic and difficult to understand and score, ex. MA105 which really requires a lot of practice and time to have a good knowledge of the subject. Chemical engineering is the most underrated branch, but it is the Best Branch of IIT Bombay after CSE. This branch surely has a lot of rising potential and the future of IITians in this field has always been very good.Read Full Review
