My course in the college is Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in computer engineering branch. For eligibility of the course, the student should be the ward of army personnel; retired, serving or deceased in the army. The candidate should give Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains and merit list is prepared on the basis of their JEE scores. My main motive for enrolling in the course is my interest in coding and programming languages. Army Institute of Technology offers five Bachelor of Engineering courses in the following fields- Computer, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical, and Robotics and Automation. Only wards of army personals are allotted seats in this college. The admission will be purely based on our JEE Main rank. They start to take the applications from students February onwards. AIT is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, which provides BE degree in Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, and Telecommunication. AIT takes admissions based on your JEE percentile and requires you to be the ward of army personnel who have served in the army for atleast10 years. You must score more than 85 percentile in JEE for Mechanical and for Computer Science you must score 95+ percentile.
