The aspirants can apply for any two courses in an academic year and as per their requirements and convenience. Applicants who pass the NIFTEE are then called for ST (Situation Test) and GD-PI (group discussion and personal interview). Only those aspirants who clear all these three rounds are eligible to take admission in the NIFTs.<\/p>\n<p>NIFT is headquartered in New Delhi and has centers at Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhopal, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Kangra, Jodhpur, Patna, Kannur, Raebareli, Srinagar, and Shillong. Design expertise is really important to get admission in any of the prestigious fashion colleges. Candidates get a chance to show their illustration skills through CAT.<\/li>\n<li>The General Ability Test is conducted to test communication skills and analytical ability of the candidate. This test lasts for 120 minutes and the candidates have enough time to present their understanding of the creative world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Registering_and_scheduling_the_NIFTEE\"><\/span>Registering and scheduling the NIFTEE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the NIFT portal<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cApplication Form\u201d hyperlink<\/li>\n<li>A previously registered applicant can log in to the system using the registered email and date of birth.<\/li>\n<li>A new aspirant should register first by clicking on a hyperlink that says \u201cFresh Candidate\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Populate the registration form with your complete name, date of birth, email, the category (general or whatsoever) you belong, and the preferred program<\/li>\n<li>After completing all the steps of the registration process, as mentioned above, the test-taker will require to fill up and submit the online application form<\/li>\n<li>Log in to your account, if not already, and provide the system with your details including the names of your parents or guardians, your gender, preferred city for the examination, your nationality, and also your academic credentials<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cSubmit\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Read the declaration page carefully and click on the \u201cI Agree\u201d checkbox<\/li>\n<li>Upload clear scans of your signature and your photo in the next page and strictly adhere to the prescribed formats for them<\/li>\n<li>Proceed to pay the fees<\/li>\n<li>Finish the concluding step of the application process by clicking on \u201cSubmit\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fees_and_modes_of_payment_for_taking_the_NIFTEE\"><\/span>Fees and modes of payment for taking the NIFTEE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The examination fee without any late fine and excluding the payment gateway charge is 1,500 rupees and 750 rupees for GEN\/OBC (non-creamy) candidates and SC\/ST\/PWD candidates respectively. All those students who apply in the first week of January are required to pay a late penalty of 5,000 rupees along with the examination fee.<\/p>\n<p>All the necessary fees can be paid with a debit\/credit card or using net-banking. One may also prepare a crossed demand draft in favor of \u201cNIFT HO\u201d; payable at New Delhi; and send it to NIFT, New Delhi. A printed hard copy of the submitted application form is required to be sent along with the DD.
