AHPs today form nearly 60% of the healthcare workforce, yet India continues to face a significant shortage across diagnostics, imaging, physiotherapy, OT technology, patient care, and hospital operations.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>At the same time, healthcare education continues to face a major employability gap, where many graduates are not adequately prepared for real-world industry requirements. Through these university collaborations, we are working to bridge this gap by enabling institutions to deliver industry-aligned, skill-focused healthcare education that combine theoretical knowledge, practice and industry exposure through internships.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Our focus is to build a stronger job-ready healthcare talent that can support long-term healthcare workforce needs of the country and the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><b>UG degree programs in Allied &amp; Healthcare disciplines<\/b>, including\u00a0Physiotherapy, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Radiology &amp; Imaging Technology, and Anaesthesia &amp; Operation Theatre Technology;\u00a0<b>UG Degree programs in other healthcare domains like\u00a0<\/b>Cosmetic Science, and Healthcare Management &amp; Artificial Intelligence;\u00a0<b>MBA program<\/b>, in\u00a0Healthcare Management;\u00a0and\u00a0<b>short-term certificate programs\u00a0<\/b>in\u00a0Geriatric Care, Phlebotomy, Dispensing Optics, Patient Relations, and more\u00a0for the 2026\u201327 academic year.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>These programs combine industry-aligned skill training, VR-led practical learning with internship opportunities through Virohan\u2019s network of leading healthcare partners across India \u2013 including\u00a0Apollo Hospitals, Medanta, Dr. Lal PathLabs, Lenskart, Eye-Q Hospitals, and Orange Health Labs\u00a0to equip students with the hands-on skills and experience needed to succeed in healthcare careers.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The expansion comes at a time of acute demand for healthcare talent.\u00a0India needs more than 64 lakh for allied and healthcare professionals.\u00a0Recognising this national priority, the Union Budget 2026 allocated \u20b91,000 crore towards the education and training of allied and healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>As part of its push to widen access to quality healthcare education, Virohan has also launched the\u00a0<b>Women in Healthcare Initiative \u2013<\/b>\u00a0<b>a \u20b92 crore scholarship pool\u00a0<\/b>to bring more women into the sector.
