IIS (Deemed to be University) is among the best college for girls in Rajasthan. Approved by UGC and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is among the list of 'A' category institutions reviewed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The admission process involves filling online application form on their website or it can be purchased offline from the college. Thereafter I had to attach my final mark sheet so as to ascertain the eligibility. The list of shortlisted students is updated on their site. The management strives for maintaining the ranking of the college. The professionals are quite helpful and guide you where ever required.

I opted for Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA). The eligibility criteria for this course is 48% in aggregate or equivalent in 12th standard from any recognized board of education. I joined this course because I had a vision towards entrepreneurship. The course offers you basic knowledge about all the subjects. For the first year every subject is compulsory, then for the next year you choose your subjects as per your interest. The courses are designed in a manner that will help you grow professionally in all aspects.

The Respected faculties in the college are highly experienced and PhD holders. There were around 6 faculties assigned to me for my course. They have a vast knowledge of the curriculum and apply diverse teaching techniques for the students. The faculties develop interpersonal relationships with their students to help them to deal with the hardships of life. They connect well and make you feel at home.

The placements are moderately good. They invite companies for the students. I was placed on campus by Genpact offering starting package of Rs. 3.5 LPA which is fairly good for the fresher. The average package received by the students varies from 2-4 LPA which I consider is a good amount to force start your career. In my batch most of girls were looking for post graduation rather than getting placed. The University ensures that the students get an experience of the whole placement process.

IIS has two hostels in total, one is inside campus named 'Aanchal' and one is outside the campus named 'Vasundhara'. I was in Aanchal means inside the campus; the hostel is well facilitated with centrally air conditioners helping you beat the heat. The food quality of the hostel is high in taste and hygiene. We used to get special meals on weekends. They gave us fresh and tasteful delicacies making our stay worth. The security of hostel is very steady. The girls are not allowed to go out every day, once a week just for an hour. This system is monitored by out passes given by the warden which is duly checked on the main gate by the Security Guards. The girls cannot leave the hostel without prior permissions.

IIS University is well equipped with all the modernity. It has a vast library offering books and case studies from different genres. The classrooms are fairly equipped. There is a big famous hall in the University which is Srajan Hall which is fully air conditioned. Most of the activities like blood donation, auditions, admit card distribution etc. take place in that hall. It's so vast that it can accommodate 600-700 people at one time. There is a well maintained play ground for the students to play all sorts of sports. The campus is also equipped with a Canteen for all sort of midday snacking. An employee of the canteen Panditji is famous for his hospitality and free gifts. The campus also have an IT lab with fast internet services where the students do can research on their projects.

The campus is a bit compact yet it has all the diversities. They have huge playground for all kinds of sports to play, huge space to perform cultural activities. The hostel girls enjoy the campus life in the evening by roaming and chilling at Canteen which is open till evening. The University has varied clubs to develop the skills of the students. I was part of many literary clubs which helped me in learning and growing. Every festival is being celebrated on Campus making the students feel at home. There are freshers party, Thanks party, farewell party etc. They also organizes movie on projectors on weekends for the hostellers.
