University of Lucknow B.Com Review By Ankit Kumar

It was a different pleasure to study at Lucknow University. Perhaps there will be only a few of you who know that this university is about 150 years old and it is still as good and strong as it used to be during my studies. I am very happy and proud that I was a part of this university; many children come here for their higher education from other cities. Some of my classmates too were from cities near Lucknow.

By the way, I have studied B.Com here and took admission in it after 12th. If we talk about studies then it is of very high quality and teachers are good but one problem is still very bad which personally I do not like is that students union they ragging juniors except this everything is good. Now if we talk about the admission process then it's all merit-based admission and all had to clear the minimum percentage criteria in 12th board but the focus is that it changes every year and LU is the best place to study and This is a very old university.

If we talk about teachers and number of teachers in my college so there were 8 teachers for my course, they were very friendly and good. If I have to choose one particular or best teacher among them, then it is a difficult task because all the teachers have their different qualities. At present, I do not know much about the academic knowledge of my teachers but yes they were doing their job well. He used to help all the students during exam time.

Talking about the campus of Lucknow University, the area of the old campus is 147 acres and the area of the new campus is 76 acres. With this, talking about the canteen, five are available in the old premises and three in the other premises to provide food. Good and cheap food is available in these canteens which is available to all the students, teachers, and all the people. Let me tell you that if there is a need for any medical emergency, internal medicine facilities in the form of dispensary near Lucknow University have always been a part of Lucknow University.

The overall experience of my college is very good because Lucknow is a very nice and big city, you will get all kinds of facilities here. We still remember that we often used to go to Fun Mall Gomtinagar to watch movies after the holiday. And yes I forgot to tell you that there was a huge Hanuman temple outside our college and the Gomti River also flows from the side, Every Tuesday a large number of people used to gather there to have darshan of the god Hanuman. We used to celebrate Teachers Day very well in all the classes; we used to give surprise to our teachers.
