KIET can bring back things nicely as KIET is undoubtedly AKTU's best College. I wish I could see enough of it because even after four years there, I felt like I wish I had one more year to spend there. I was so pleased to see the best of faculties as during my school life one thing that has bothered me the most is my relationship with my teachers. They had all the worldly experience and were powerful. In terms of infrastructure, I saw the real College infrastructure because a College should have all the amenities that KIET has in its pocket. The campus life, though, remains the key, and it was so advanced that I never felt like I am studying the very Ghaziabad where I stay. The crowd of the College was belligerent and it was the way everyone was so determined to do something in life that made me gel well with most of the people whom I made friends with in College. So, for all these reasons, KIET to me is one of the best engineering Colleges of Ghaziabad.

It was the way the academics started because it was too powerful to be ignored. The academics continued that way throughout four years. Throw in two mid-semester exams and one end semester exams; all were taken seriously because the cumulative markings were dependent on all the three exams. Academics here were three-dimensional as there was theory and practicals, and the new dimensions were the projects that were given. Every year, we had to submit one project that carried a lot of weightages in terms of the marks that were put together.

For me, the faculties have stood out as they had big enough shoulders to shoulder the responsibility of so many students. Apart from CSE, all the other engineering departments hardly had any students, but CSE being the core course of the College, the number of faculties for our course were high too. They carried the College time and time again that we needed. Whether it be doubt solving or whether it is practical, their contribution in my entire journey at KIET was awesome. Some of the faculties who have been teaching here since a long time were decent, but all the new faculties that have been hired by the College during our batch were too awesome.

For internships, the companies offered us opportunities, but they all had their GCE exams which needed to be cleared. I cleared Cognizant and did an internship for six months in the fifth semester. Those who do an internship get a waiver in that particular semester at KIET. Few Colleges give those options to its students, but KIET was accommodative. Cognizant told me that they need experts and either they can hire me as a trainee for a year or two or I can continue studying and be the expert and join them. When one has that leverage and the baggage of placements are sorted, they can do anything to be eligible to work. I studied further as my intern company showed a lot of faith in me. This isn't me; many like me were offered similar things by their internship companies like Infosys, and Wipro.

There were as many as five boys and three girls hostels at the KIET campus. Hostels were bifurcated with the year that the students are studying in. Like some hostels were allotted only to first and second-year students and for 3rd and 4th-year students, they had to move to other hostels. One hostel was reserved for PG students as only PG students used to stay in that hostel. Girls' hostels, too, might have some similar rules, though I am not sure. I wish I could live a hostel life, but because I was a localite, I couldn't.

A campus of around 20 acres is enough because it is built so well. All the latest amenities have been roped in at the campus to make students' lives comfortable. The College is located on the highway and reaching there took 20 minutes from my home. All the eight departments' libraries were a combined one that had over 1.5 lakh books. For e-journal access, there was a media center at the campus and we could access e-journals. The library's reading was fully air-conditioned and had a seating capacity of over 1000 students. There were three conference halls and a larger-than-life auditorium that was good enough to seat around 800 students. The two-floor café served many food items and one can have almost all the food items that a student generally in their student life craves for.

'Innotech' was the technical fest of the College in which all the Colleges of Delhi NCR were invited. KIET used to host two cultural fests every year. The one that happens in December is called 'Epoque' and the annual event is called 'Prastuti'. These were some of the things that we enjoyed as a part of KIET's campus.
