PES University B.Com Review By Darshan H

PES University one of the best institute in Bangalore, because the teaching, infrastructure, discipline, community are super. I had applied for so many colleges and I selected PES, it was nearby my home and I had asked many of them about this college the review I got about this college was positive so I joined this college.

What I have chosen is B.Com; it has of 6 semesters, yearly 2 semesters. 5 subjects in each semester. Entry requirement for PES University is you have to secure 60 percent in 2 PUC and after that you have to write entrance examination, it is called PESSAT. And you have to clear PESSAT and you will have one on one interview. After that you will be selected. My motive to join B.Com is I like to pursue MBA after B.Com.

The faculty here in our college is so kind and very dignified and has several years experience and has very much knowledge because majority of our faculty has completed PhD and many of them professional like CA and CS. There teaching style and their communication is really super. Theoretical and practical is done on laptop and the theory is divided in PPTs in which it helps us to understand the concept deeper.

Mainly our college is famous for placement. The students get placement is around 60%. It is quite more than any other college because we all study for jobs in the future this college really full fill our goals. They also help every student by giving them pre placement training. There are numerous company come into our college they are Infosys Capgemini, TCS, London Stock Exchange, Accenture, Amazon, TVS etc.

The college has hostel facility but the hostel price is quite high Rs. 1,50,000 per year but it provide three times meals and every student gets one cot and hot water facility and the rooms are very clean and neat.

Our college consists of 30 acres of land with a huge parking in entrance with a big fountain there are total 7 blocks which 4 blocks consist of 15 floors and each floor has computer lab and the big hall for meeting. And every block has both lift and stairs where students are permitted to use the facility. Every class consist of 4 fans and light one TV in every class and wash room is in every very well maintained staff. And there are many canteen facilities.

The overall campus life in PES Uni is super and there are around 10000 students. The crowd maintenance is super we will not able to know that there is 10k students in our college. There are many club activities like bikers club, sports club, fashion club, drama club and many more. There will be yearly one fest and other activity like there will be guest talk and many celebrity and big personality people will be visiting to our college.
