Sri Sairam Engineering College had been game changer in my life. It provided a number of opportunities that made me identify my potential and improvise myself. They conduct a number of events and being a part of it made me excel and have a very good exposure. They have very good infrastructure and transportation facilities. They also provide very good placements.

I am pursuing my under graduation in the department of electronics and communication engineering. I learnt nearly 5 core papers for each semester. All the subjects are very interesting and Sri Sairam Engineering College gave me practical knowledge and the laboratory sessions were very useful. Teaching is very good. Books are given in the college itself. They are very useful and helpful.

Teachers are the best here. All teachers are very friendly. They bring in the inherent talent within us and they guide us accordingly. Each student has a mentor and the mentor takes the entire responsibility of the students’ upliftment. Teachers support us mentally and apart from academics they show the various other platforms in which one could excel. When a student selects a project, based on the domain the college assigns experts and they also provide industry level mentors for projects submitted for hackathon.

Yes there is a separate training and placement cell offering training right from third year. From the current batch it starts from second year. They teach us aptitude, logical skills and coding. They arrange experts who are from face prep and ethnus academy. From third year companies visit our campus. Firstly they organize pre placement talk where we could know about the company. They offer placements for around 15 LPA. I got placed at Zoho. One of my friends got placed at Cisco. All are assured with placements. All of my friends are placed.

Though I am not a hosteller, but I always wanted to be. The girls’ hostel of my college looks awesome. They have all facilities and provide hot water, good food and they are currently constructing AC rooms. The fees is also nominal. They have separate hostels for girls and boys. They also take outings and every Sunday they telecast some recent movies in the auditorium. Hostels have warden who take the full responsibility of the students.

The infrastructure of our college is very amazing. Laboratories have industrial equipments that enabled us to do each of the experiment in the lab manual and obtain accurate results. We have smart classes with projectors. There are more than 100 computers in our computer labs. Our college has central library and also separate department libraries that have reference books and manuals for our subjects.

I had a wonderful experience studying at Sairam Engineering College. The environment, the interaction and exposure we get with the society made me think more widely. Our college has the biggest auditorium and many cinema events and shootings happen here. I had a chance to see many famous personalities here. Sairam College also has number of clubs and I have been a part of agriculture and UBA. Apart from academics, I have learnt and enjoyed a lot here. They regularly organize fests and symposiums wherein we could participate and have good exposure.
