Overall Rating
As I joined this college from COMEDK. If you are Karnataka student then you can join from KCET also although fees are less from KCET. AI courses are not available in this college but overall Tech branches have better placements rates. This is a decent college and not among top institutes. If you want to enjoy have fun and also want to study you can freely join this college. Overall, the experience till my 1st year was fine there were some function not very grand but ethnic.
 

Academics Rating
I got Information Science And Engineering in this college so academic wise this college is decent and far better from any other average colleges. I'm from north sometimes you may face difficulty because some teachers prefer Kannada language but mostly you'll get to hear English language only. The teachers are not too friendly but helpful you can make good touch from them so academically my experience was much better.
 

Faculty Rating
Here in our college, faculties for every branch are much better. Teachers are helpful and ready to solve your doubts whenever they are available. As I am from north so some teachers sometimes prefer Kannada language for better explanation although 95% they speak English only so you won't have any problems with teachers. Making interaction with teachers is so easy they'll be available for your doubts and helps.
 

Placement Rating
As I have completed my first year so overall what I have heard from my seniors and watched here placement are much better for technical department like IT/CS and ECE and for core branches like civil Mechanical it's average. Many companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Tata, etc. come and students are placed. This year the average package was 5 LPA. So, as I expect in coming years this College will have many better placements rates.
 

Hostel Rating
I joined hostel only for 1st year and it was not even average experience. I took 2 sharing room which was okay type but food was not up to the mark. As you are taking hostel so food problem will be all over colleges so it's same for all colleges hostel. I'll prefer take the hostel only for 1st year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College is under construction so expecting a better buildings and spaces you won't get here. Due to the construction they don't organise any grand function or fest. Here in College they have a basketball ground and in that ground only all the small fest like ethnic day is celebrated. So if you're coming for campus all and infrastructure don't join this college. When I came in 1st year I was too disappointed from the infrastructure as they said construction will be completed in 1 year but till now it's not completed. So infrastructure is below average you can't expect any grand fest.
 

Campus Rating
Here in our college campus one can't expect a grand function or fest due to construction going on but small fest is organised. In the 1st year they organised freshers party in some other hall. Here crowd are from all over states but mostly south population. Interacting with the students and having fun depends on you that how you interact. As I mentioned campus in not too big so if you're expecting a movie college life don't join this college but if you want little bit of fun and studies and academic then you can join this college.

    Sapthagiri College of Engineering is a good college. It has a bus stop right in front of college so there will be no transportation issues. The infrastructure of college was good but now due to construction it has been ruined completely. There are barely any fests conducted in the college. The experience is quite good in the college. Always been a dream to get into an engineering college for the betterment of my college. And my choice couldn't get any better.
