3. Trilok Singh
An entrepreneur, Trilok Singh, founded ‘Gearr Technologies’ while being a student at Chandigarh University. Gear Technologies is an innovation based Bicycle Company which was funded by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India.
It was also acknowledged as the Green Company of the Year 2017 by Thapar University, Patiala. Trilok has been enthusiastically growing his company while keeping it sustainable and affordable. Furthermore, the entrepreneur has received the Genesis Start-Up Award.
4. Lovelash Dutt

5. Bhagwan Singh
CU alumni list includes the name of Bhagwan Singh, a National Gold Medalist and Asian Games 2018 Medal Winner in Rowing. Bhagwan started the journey by pursuing Journalism from Chandigarh University and went on to join the Indian Army.

Palak Kohli, one of the notable alumni of Chandigarh University is the youngest Para-Athlete to qualify for Tokyo Paralympics and the only Para Badminton Athlete from the country to qualify both singles & women’s doubles for Tokyo Paralympics 2021. She has won a Gold medal in Women’s Doubles and one Silver medal in women’s singles at BWF Paralympics, Uganda (2019).
She has participated in BWF Para Badminton International Japan (2020); where she bagged a Bronze medal in women’s doubles. Since then the Para-Athlete has won multiple International medals including 2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals at the Spanish Para Badminton International Level 1 and 2 in 2025. Currently, she has a total of around 20 medals in her name.
