My experience of studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Government Engineering College Rajkot. My overall review of this college is quite positive. I have completed my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering through the Diploma to the Degree admission process from this government ran institute. It is hard to get admission in this reputed institute as it is Government Engineering College. Still, the admission process is simple, and you need to go through an online application form in ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses). After the application form, you have to fill in choices for your college according to your priorities. If you have well scored in your after 10+2 exams or Diploma, then you get admitted to this institute, followed by easy documentation and verification. Results for mid-semester exams are displayed in a couple of days. When your semester ends, you can get a Non-Objection Certificate from the head of the department to do internships or vocational training. They will sign if you are not sacrificing your lectures or labs so that you can spend your free time in improving your skills and portfolios. SSIP in this college is my personal favorite. Why? It is because this committee helps students in starting their Start-ups. Sounds great? Yes, this committee helps you finding out a proper way to launch your start-ups as well as patent applications and searching. You can get a grant of approximately 200K INR for kick-starting your business if your ideas get approved by this committee.

I have studied in Mithibai College of Arts for 5 years, starting from junior college and must say Mithibai is undoubtedly a great choice. Teaching faculty is the best, infrastructure is great and provides you the best placement opportunities. Along with studies the college always promoted the importance of getting indulged in extra-curricular activities as well. If you want to join Mithibai, I would say, you should join it from the junior college itself. The reason is once, you have done HSC from Mithibai then you become eligible for their graduation courses automatically. The cut-off list even for courses like B.A. goes all the way to 85 percent. I witnessed students from diverse backgrounds and people coming in from all corners of India.
The college didn’t just provide me the opportunity for academic exploration but helped me in my all-around growth as well. College held various programs where they taught us organizational capability, managing skills, discipline, and leadership qualities. The college campus is fully Wi-Fi, electronic blackboards, and fully air-conditioned classrooms. Many graduates who have passed out from this college are working in multinational corporations. The list doesn't end here as the college has given some national level sports players, Bollywood stars, and international beauty pageants winners as well. H. L. College of Commerce is arguably the best commerce college in Gujarat. The college is ranked among the top commerce college in India. I just looked at the contribution that this college made in the last 8 and half decades and decided to enroll at the H. L. College of Commerce after my H.S.C. results got out. The college has won Best College in Gujarat Award twice and thereby also enjoys a recognizable image not just in India but abroad. Students of HL are referred to as HLites. In addition to academics, the college provided me to explore the other sides of my interests like participating in cultural and sports activities. No other college of Gujarat University has yielded results as H. L. has. Hence, this is why to take admission to H. L., one needs high grades in their H.S.C. exams.
College admission is purely based on merit. Yes, there is a small portion of management quota but most of the students who enroll at H. L. come through the merit list. The college helped me widen my knowledge horizons and made sure that I am in tune with tomorrow to contribute to the best of my ability in the cultural and economic empowerment of my country. College offers only 2 programs B.Com and M. Com. The college library needs to be boasted as it is one of the biggest libraries that you will see in colleges. The library is equipped with 40k books and also provides national and international magazines and journals. The college has always acknowledged the importance of co-curricular activities to make sure the students are not just confined to studies and that they can explore larger things in life as well.
