Overall Rating
The Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor has average placement for B.Tech branches. Infrastructure is good according to College fees. There is greenery around College and hostel rooms are allocated in triple sharing. In terms of education, it is excellent and very helpful in improving our knowledge. The College is also recognised by AICTE.

Academics Rating
I have chosen IT branch as it has more placement opportunities. Admissions are done through JEE Main. You need nearly 85 percentile in case you belong to OBC category. For general, it is around 90 percentile and for SC / ST students, it can be around 60 percentile. There are 2 class tests before each exam and there are 2 exams in a year.
Nearly Rs. 45,500/- is annual fee for my program. The College offers scholarships as well.

Faculty Rating
At Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor, there is distinct faculty for each department. Each department has its own HoD and under them teachers are there with their defined subjects. Teacher can solve problems if they have time and students can reach out to them for the same. Some teachers have good bonding with students.

Placement Rating
As I have mentioned earlier, placements of my department are average & has a lot of room for improvement.

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University offers hostel facilities. 3-seater rooms are available for the students. Though, the quality of food can be much better.

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the College is good like there is greenery around the campus. It has library, which is air-conditioned and clean. There is also a small canteen, which is opened this year. The favorite part of College infrastructure is ground or just to sit at the benches.

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent. Yes, there are few clubs for student engagement & I am also part of a club. Events and fests are organised throughout the year for our entertainment. Other than that, life here depends upon the friends you make.

    Overall Rating
I chose REC Bijnor because it is a Government College with low fee structure. Formally, it was known as Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Engineering College of Information Technology. It wasn't my top priority but was allotted during the UPTU/AKTU counselling, so I decided to accept it primarily because it is Government-run Institution and affordable. If someone intends to pursue higher studies and relies on self-study, this College is a suitable choice. Overall, this College is good in academics and facul... Read Full Review
