Overall Rating
If I tell about my overall experience then I would say that if you want a decent infrastructure, better faculty, good hostel experience & affordable fees then this University overall stands at a very better position. The factors that made me choose this University was its ranking. In addition, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology Sonipat is near my hometown.

Academics Rating
Now if you are asking about the admission process, for B.Tech, then you have to score qualifying marks in JEE Main entrance exam and 45% marks in class 12th to be eligible for any branch you want to get enrollment. As if my course I chose was Electrical Engineering.
The fee structure for this program is Rs. 45,750/- for 1st year. Scholarship is available for students of EWS category.

Faculty Rating
If I talk about the staff and faculty then they are Ph.D holders and have a quite good experience in their technical field. The student teacher ratio is as 1:50. They are also good at solving students’ problems. Other than this, my bonding with teachers is great.

Placement Rating
I am still a 4th year student. Therefore, I cannot tell much of the placement but as heard from my seniors, highest package secured by ECE student of 67 LPA.

Hostel Rating
About the hostel facilities, I would say for 1st year it would cost Rs. 32,600/-. The food quality at the DCRUST Murthal Sonipat hostel mess is decent. During festival occasions, mess offers special dinner to the students.

Infrastructure Rating
The University is around 8 KMs away from the Sonipat Railway Station. The classes have with big led screens for proper presentations of various topics. Well air-conditioned rooms, a shopping complex for groceries, Amul booth, Nescafe, auditorium for events, library named Saraswati Complex, dispensary for medical aids, and a bus facility for day scholars are available at the University. Classrooms have a capacity of around 100 to 120 students at a time. My overall experience is fabulous.

Campus Rating
If I talk about my campus life at the DCRUST Murthal Sonipat, it is full of excitement and joy. I was also the part of SEE, which is our branch’s official society. There are also many other societies for musical bands like Goonj, SKA, Haryanvi Mandli, etc. There is also, a major events organised by university every year named ‘Rhythm’ every years with great prizes.

    Overall Rating
I have joined DCRUST Murthal Sonipat, 2 years ago and I would say that the overall experience of mine at this University has been above average. The faculty and resources provided to students are great. The student crowd at the University is also very nice. One thing that I would like you all to note is that the attendance criterion is really strict here. So, students who face difficulty with consistency will have to mould themselves in this aspect....
