DCRUST Murthal Sonipat average package is 8 LPA

I have joined DCRUST Murthal Sonipat, 2 years ago and I would say that the overall experience of mine at this University has been above average. The faculty and resources provided to students are great. The student crowd at the University is also very nice. One thing that I would like you all to note is that the attendance criterion is really strict here. So, students who face difficulty with consistency will have to mould themselves in this aspect.

I have joined B.Tech in Electrical Engineering as my course of choice and this is because I think that this branch has a very vast scope and offers great future opportunities. For admission here, you have to qualify JEE Main and also there are some seats reserved for category students. For admission, you have to apply online at the official site of the University. There are 3 exams per semester, out of which 2 are sectionals and one is the main exam. The academic life will help develop useful skills like communication, professionalism, etc. which is useful in real-life.

The academic fee you have to pay per year is around Rs. 65,000/- for first year and about Rs. 55,000/- for the next three years. The first year fee is inclusive of the admission fee and other charges charged by the students. Students can get scholarships based on their academic performance. Scholarships are also available for category students. The scholarship will cover up to Rs. 50,000/- per year.

The faculty is very skilled and qualified. They are very dedicated to provide quality education to the students. As for their backgrounds, all are very qualified. Every professor has Ph.Ds in their respective fields. They also have years of experience in teaching and the tech industry. The teachers often use smart boards to teach the students. The professors owing to their experience are intelligence and have great problem-solving skills. They are also easily approachable and very friendly. The teacher student ratio is somewhat around 1:10.

There are dedicated faculty members working for the placement cell of the University. They help the students get jobs and internships. Many renowned companies come for placement such as Volvo, Echier, Havells, TCS, etc. Average package is 8 LPA and highest package is 16 LPA. The placement experience is very smooth in general for the students.

Hostel facility is available for students living more than 42 kilometers away from the University. There are two types of room, including single and double bed-room. The hostels have many facilities like common rooms equipped with indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess and other games. There is a Volleyball court too in the hostel premises. There are 4 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. The quality of the food served by the mess is healthy and good in terms of hygiene. Moreover, students get to decide the menu. The annual hostel fee is around Rs. 33,000/- and monthly mess charges are approximately Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 2500/- depending on the menu chosen by the students. Boys hostel are always open but girls hostel are open from 6 AM to 7 PM. My personal experience is great.

Campus has a huge library which has subscriptions of great publishing houses. There are also provisions for digital library. The classrooms have capacity of around 150 to 200 with AV aids available. There are dedicated labs, seminar halls and a big auditorium with an approximate capacity of around 3500. There are many canteens, grounds and courts for every major sport and they are all well-maintained. There are transport facilities available for the students and also great priority is given to the safety of students, and for that purpose there are many security guards on-campus.

I had a great campus life at DCRUST Murthal Sonipat up till now. The crowd at the University is very diverse. There are many clubs like JZAA, SKA, REBEL, GOON, etc. I am a part of Lisoc (the Literary society). There are two fest organised by the University called ‘Rhythm’- the cultural fest and ‘Technova’- the technical fest. These are both held in even and odd semesters. There are many extracurricular activities that occur in the premises. Students are also taken on industrial visits. My personal experience has been very good and I would recommend you all to join your preferred course at the University.
