Overall Rating
As a summary of my university I want to say it is an average university if your rank in JEE mains is about 1.5 lakh and you are a student of Haryana. I chose this university because I was not getting any other university for my rank and also it is the second best university in Haryana.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering because I had a keen interest in PCB designing, VLSI, etc. I can also pursue IT field so that's why I thought it would be better to go with this course. For admission in this university you have to apply for HSTES counseling and you will be shortlisted according to your rank in JEE Mains. There are 4 sessional exams and 2 semester exams in a year. Academics of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology do get you industry ready.
The fees structure of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology is almost same for all the categories. In first semester you have to pay Rs. 45,500 including all fees, and in second semester you have to pay Rs. 10,000 as fees. After that from 3rd semester onwards you have to pay Rs. 35,500 in odd semester and Rs. 10,000 in even semester. There are many scholarships given in university and personal also.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good. They have good knowledge of the subject as they all did Ph.D in their respective subject. Teachers use smart board to teach the student and their problem solving abilities are also good. The student to teacher ratio in our university is good enough. Teachers are not very approachable for personal problems but you can ask doubts through WhatsApp group. At last all the teachers are very good and knowledgeable.
 

Placement Rating
The placement scenario Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology is not very good as only a few companies visit the campus. Companies like Veersa and TCS visits the campus each year. The placement and training cell is there in university but it is not that active. 63 out of 137 students are being placed this year with highest package of 8 lakh and lowest of 2.7 lakh.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are hostel facilities in the university. The hostel rooms are very small for two people. The registration process for hostel is through website after taking admission. The hostels are quite affordable with fees of Rs. 32,000. Girls and Boys hostels are separate. There are about 4 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel, each hostel has approx. 350 students. The maintenance and cleanliness in the hostel needs improvement. Wi-fi facilities are also available in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academics blocks of campus are pretty average. There are Smart boards and AC's in classrooms with sitting ability of approx. 80 students. There are many small food stalls near academic blocks. There is a medical hall in university. There is a medical room and 1 doctor is always present in medical room. Hostel and campus library are accessible 24x7. The best spot for hangout is Amul booth, Nescafe and complex. There are many practical labs that complement my course. Canteen is good in terms of quality of food.
 

Campus Rating
The Annual fest at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology is called Rhythm and technical fest is not there in our university. The books are very easily accessible in university library. Students run many society and clubs here. My campus life experience here is average.

    The best thing I like about this University is it is located at a prime location which is very suitable for students. I chose this University over other Universities because of its placements.     I have joined DCRUST Murthal Sonipat, 2 years ago and I would say that the overall experience of mine at this University has been above average. The faculty and resources provided to students are great. The student crowd at the University is also very nice. One thing that I would like you all to note is that the attendance criterion is really strict here. So, students who face difficulty with consistency will have to mould themselves in this aspect....     I have taken admission in this college by HSETES counseling last year. This college suits my personality as it provides me ample of time to discover the new discoveries. There is no strict attendance criteria for my branch and additionally there are various public holidays and weekends.
