Summary of My College Life at DRNGPIT Coimbatore

Overall Rating
I recently graduated from this Institute & the overall experience here has made me a wise person. So our of all the things which I have managed to learn at DRNGPIT Coimbatore has helped me gain a lot of knowledge. Yes, I would recommend future students to join this College.
 

Academics Rating
AI & DS was perhaps the most popular or the best course taught at our Institute. It has an excellent placement record too. Our studies were purely on industrial merit and even our course and subjects made us aware of corporate demands. Entrance exam is the way to get admission here and luckily in 2022 when I took admission, the cut off wasn't that high but now very higher cut-offs are required to get admission at NGPIT.
Rs. 1,20,000/- per semester was my fee and exam registration fee was Rs. 600/- per semester for each subject. For SC/ST students, scholarships are available.
 

Faculty Rating
Group discussions and latest methods of teaching were used by our faculties. Most of the professors were gold medalists from IITs and luckily, 90% of professors were Tamilians. Therefore, this was an advantage as familiar with language made it easy for students to understand the studies. My relationship with them was like good with some of them.
 

Placement Rating
Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, and many other companies hired students of our batch and thus placements of 2026 were record breaking.
 

Hostel Rating
Girl’s hostels were great as room and everything that we were provided were so comfortable. Guards guarding the premises and even our warden mam were so sweet. Food was available on time and quality of food and variety of food that our mess provides was best that Institute could have done from their end. Hostel in time too was 6 PM. Without authority approval, we could not leave the hostels beyond curfew time and the only time the Institute stayed open beyond these hours was during fest Kanam.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our block was average but B block, which had conference hall, was the biggest and the best block of the campus. The campus was quite close to the hostel and thus made it convenient for us to come to Institute walking. Canteen and playground were good and spacious as canteen always had largest gathering and sports ground too was always full of students. Indoor sports facilities are also there at the Institute.
 

Campus Rating
The College was strict as 5:30 PM meant last bell and students were asked to leave. There were some other events too. All in all, campus life here was decent despite being an academic driven Institute.

    My experience at DRNGPIT Coimbatore had been great since here are hosted various events and seminars and teaching goes way beyond classrooms. There are a lot of things to do in and around the Institute like Propone Mall.     No student can be weary here as the joy that our campus life brings is so special that I don't have to sugar coat anything. Academics are very good at DRNGPIT Coimbatore and so are the placements. So, when these two things are sorted, everything automatically falls in place for students.     This is one of the best Institutes among the top Engineering Institutions. I am not comparing this Institute to others Institutes but the skill sets that our Institute provides is more than enough. The fee of this Institute is also affordable.     One can expect big things while studying in this Institute because our Institute provides all the facilities to the students. The information about the societies and the events are always shared on the social media handle. Apart from the studies, the students are taught to share their personal opinions and ideas to others.
