MHT CET 2026 - 1.77 Lakh+ Applications Received, Last Date to Apply Announced

Data released by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, specifies that MHT CET 2026 registrations have crossed 1.77 lakh candidates so far to grant admission in PCM, PCB, and MBA programs in several participating Institutions of the exam.

Students who have not yet registered can complete the MHT CET 2026 application till 12th February 2026 on the official website of MHT CET that is ‘cetcell.mahacet.org’.

MHT CET 2026: PCM Stream Leads with Highest Registrations

Among all streams, PCM group has recorded the highest number of registrations for MHT CET 2026 with over 1,07,627 candidates. Currently, another 18,760 applications for the exam are still under process. Moreover, 30,281 students have opted to appear in the MHT CET exam for the 1st time, while 77,346 candidates have chosen to attempt both exams.

MHT CET 2026: PCB Stream Shows Strong Interest with 53,000+ Registrations So Far

Not just PCM, students have also shown significant interest in PCB groups for the MHT CET 2026 exam with 53,176 registrations so far. Within this group, 9577 applications are still under process. Furthermore, 28,474 candidates have chosen to give a first attempt, while 24,702 students have opted to attempt both the examinations.

MHT CET 2026: Category Wise Registration

The data further illustrate diverse participation across multiple categories. For the MHT CET 2026 PCM and PCB exams, 7 candidates have registered in the ‘Other’ gender category and 359 have applied under the ‘Orphan’ category. Additionally, 394 candidates are there within the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.
