Mr. Chavan became a part of Lok Sabha in the year 1991 and later became the 17th Chief Minister of Maharashtra. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering from BITS Pilani, dedication and hard work led him to stand as a strong leader & become an inspiration for many students who aim to build a career in a similar field.
2. Shriharsha Majety: Managing Director and Group CEO at Swiggy
Shriharsha Majety obtained Bachelors & Masters degree in Engineering in the year 2008 and later stood among the top BITS Pilani notable alumni. By starting a career in Investment Banking with Nomura International, located at UK, Mr. Majety came back to India and established a company called Swiggy, an online food delivery application.
Mr. Majety kept devotion and perseverance to become a renowned businessman and received Entrepreneur of the Year 2019’ at ‘The Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence’ by The Economic Times in November, 2019. Due to the consistent effort of Mr. Majety, Swiggy was brought into existence which inspired young minds to never think that anything is impossible.
3. Anant Maheshwari: President and CEO of Honeywell’s Global Regions
Initially Anant worked at Microsoft as a President & CEO where the key responsibilities were to look after the overall business of the company in India. Currently, the tycoon serves as a President and CEO of Honeywell, an American Multinational firm situated in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
Mr. Maheshwai graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, with a Master’s degree in Science in Economics & a B.E in Electrical and Electronics in 1996. Now, Anant Maheshwari is recognised as one of the top BITS Pilani’s notable alumni.
4. Richa Kar: Founder of Zivame
Richa Kar is a famous Indian Business woman who has completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from BITS Pilani and is known for an intimate wear clothing brand Zivame. The vision behind the start-up was to make it easier for Indian women to buy inner wear online without hesitation. The brand soon started to produce women’s clothing, fitness wear, and sleepwear.
Richa Kar’s work was acknowledged by various awards like Women Icons of India Award, NDTV Unicorn Start-up Award, Femina Women Awards, and many more. Gaurav Chaudhary, known as Technical Guruji, a Youtuber and a Content Creator has studied Microelectronics from BITS Pilani, Dubai campus. In the year 2015, Mr. Gaurav launched a YouTube channel known as Technical Guruji which gained popularity not only in India but Globally within a very short span of time.

Revathi Advaithi is a BITS Pilani notable alumni who started a career in America as a Shop Floor Supervisor at Eaton. With all the resilience & optimism, Miss Revathi has reached the level of becoming a CEO of the leading Global Technology manufacturing firm called Flex. Miss Advaithi has been named one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business and is also featured on CNBC’s inaugural Changemakers list.
Miss Revathi Advaithi has pursued Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani who later stood among one of the most powerful female notable alumni of the Institute.
7. Manu Sawhney: Former ICC CEO
Manu Sawhney is an ambitious personality who had successfully got among the top BITS Pilani notable alumni. Sawhney initially started a career at ESPN Star Sports and rose to the position of Managing Director before moving to Singapore. After moving there, Mr. Manu Sawhney started to work at Singapore Sports Hub as a CEO. Later, from 2019 to 2021 Mr. Sawhney was appointed as a CEO of ICC.
