Note: Aspiring students who are going to take the final examination of the respective qualifying exam are permitted to apply for the entrance test.
The exam conducting body will soon begin the registration for Test 1 of NUCAT 2026. Students will be able to complete the NUCAT Registration 2026 by navigating the official website i.e., ‘nucat.nitte.edu.in’. In order to confirm the candidature for the entrance exam, applicants will be required to pay the application fee of Rs. 1250/- (non-refundable).
Moreover, in case of any rectification in the NUCAT application form, students can send an email regarding the same to the provided email ID within 2 days of submission of the form.
After verifying the registration of the applicants, the conducting authority will send an invitation at the registered email address to create a User Account on the test platform i.e., ‘nucat.codetantra.com’. Candidates are required to create a User Account and then proceed with the slot booking for NUCAT 2026.
On the test platform, students will be able to book the desired slot. Moreover, aspirants who look forward to retaking the exam can book separate slots accordingly during initial slot booking or else, login later and book the same.
Note: Applicants should be aware that they cannot change the slot once it is booked.

Students are suggested to understand the paper pattern for NUCAT 2026 to avoid any last minute confusion on the actual exam day. Based on the NUCAT Exam Pattern 2026, the entrance test will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours via Remote Proctored Online Test & Centre-Based Online Test modes.

The Machine (AI) proctored / Test Platform-based Mock Test B will be conducted based on the exam slot booked by the students. Students qualifying the NITTE University Common Admission Test will be further required to attend the NUCAT Counselling Process 2026 in person. The counselling process will be held at the NITTE University, NMAM Institute of Technology, and the NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT).
The NUCAT Seat Allotment 2026 to various programs will be done based on merit in NUCAT 2026.
