KIET - Pros and Cons

Overall Rating
The institute is quite good, and the maintenance of the institute is ok. The institute is situated at the highway road, and it is about 10-20 acres. The KIET Engineering Institute is also called as Kakinada Institute of Engineering. The institute is established in 2001. It offers both Under graduation and Post graduation courses.
 

Academics Rating
The course which I took is full of demand everywhere. The institute accepts admission through AP-EAPCET and TS-EAMCET and also through management quota. The institute offers a wide range of UG and PG courses for the students who wish to join. The institute is also provided with bus facility for nearby 30kms.
 

Faculty Rating
The professor who deals with subject are very experienced and very talented and having a vast knowledge of concepts. The way of teaching is very nice, and they approach the concept in such a way that every student can understand easily. The professors use real time examples and demonstrate them to explain in much better way.
 

Placement Rating
The institute consists of a Training and Placement Cell which offers training to the students for various companies’ campus interviews and all. You have to pay fees for the training classes. There are company-based training sessions and also for the normal training sessions.
 

Hostel Rating
As I am a day scholar, I don’t have better knowledge about the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the institute is quite decent, and the institute management takes care of the needed infrastructure. The labs are provided with a high-speed internet facility and the classrooms are also well maintained. There is a block for every department in the institute.
 

Campus Rating
On overall the institute life and atmosphere is quite decent and it is acceptable. The maximum students who join are from home state and they all are very friendly.
There are a large number of technical and cultural events conducted in our institute. There are some guest events also conducted in which actors and some celebrities come to the institute and some interactive sessions with the influencers are also organised.

    Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology there are so many clubs. It makes students improve in aspect in which they are week. We have GCC for improving coding, K-HUB for making projects and internship, Toastmaster for improving speaking skills, NSS for helping people. Our institute celebrates many events....
