Overall Rating
Asansol Engineering College is one of the well known colleges under JIS and Techno India Group. It is the one of the best and well known engineering college. You can get admission here by the entrance examination like WBJEE and JEE. AEC is offers different courses like B.Tech (CSE, CSE, IOT, Cyber Security, Block Chain Technology, etc.), CSE (AIML), CSBS, IT, ECE, EE, ME, BBA, BCA, MCA, M.Tech, B.Sc in Data Science, Hospital Management, etc.
 

Academics Rating
In Asansol Engineering College you can get your entry by giving entrance exams. For BBA/BCA you can get direct admission. For MBA you have to qualify CAT and for M.Tech you have to qualify GATE. For B.Tech you have to score min 60% in 12 to get admission in this college. The branches CSE, ECE, and ME of AEC come under NBA and NIRF rank of this college comes under the range 151-300.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are so good and friendly. Their teaching techniques are so understandable. The labs are too good. Professors are always being there to help the students. Here you will be provided with a mentor also he or she will guide you. Maximum professor are Ph.D holders here or passed out from well known top rated colleges.
 

Placement Rating
AEC provides good placements to their students. The well known companies namely Cognizant, TCS, CGI, Wipro, Infosys, TVS, Capgemini, etc. visits the campus. TCS is the Mass recruiting company. Placement Cell of our college also provides necessary skill and courses which helps the students to secure a job. Also our college provides personal development classes which improve your personality.
 

Hostel Rating
The Boys hostel and Girls’ hostel are separated and it is good in condition but the food quality is not up to the mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
AEC has a very great campus. There are different buildings for different courses. CSE and IT dept comes under same building while EE, ECE, and ME dept. has their own bulding. College provides separate building to the BBA, B.Sc, and Data Science students. College library is too good. They provide you different types of study material and books. AEC has their own Canteen, Gym, and playground.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is more than 17 acres so you will get a great campus with full of green. As there is a big play ground so you can chill up there. After all this there is different types of club like Hardware Club, Coding Clubbier Club, Science Club, Cultural Club, etc. They arrange lots of activities and competitions which gives you lots of fun and enjoyments.

    Asansol Engineering College completed its 25 years last year. This college has awesome faculty members with a well-maintained library. The faculties are very good and have good teaching experience. Also along with academics the college also has good records in sports and extracurricular activities.     Asansol Engineering College is one of the best colleges in West Bengal.
