Pursuing MBA from GL Bajaj college was the best decision for my post-graduation, and it is the one of the best colleges to be found in Noida with excellence in academics and various other fields. But still, there are cons present when there are pros. The college dose not organize events as much as other colleges nearby and thus it is not that good in the extra – curricular activities. One can get the admission in GL Bajaj college simply by clearing the CAT/MAT Exam and scoring the seats in it. It is affiliated to Abdul Kalam Technical University.

I am currently pursuing MBA as my post-graduation in GL Bajaj and you can be eligible to apply for this course only if you are graduated or last year of your graduation. There are basically two ways of taking admission in this college as such one can clear the entrance exam of CAT/ MAT and reserve their seat through the counseling. And the other way is to take the direct admission based on your graduation marks. I wanted to study this course so that I can get exposure in the marketing area and one can bag the highest package in MBA. The subjects chosen by the university is found to be helpful and important for the MBA and there are no useless subjects as complaints by the other university’s students.

When talking about the faculties, there is a mixed reaction of many students. The reason being when you enter in the classroom of first year, you will find that the teachers there are so hardworking and are actually making efforts. But as you jump to the last year, the quality of the teachers gets decreased year by year. There are many good teachers who have left the college and there is some noticeable decrease in the quality of teaching in the college but still it is better when compared to the other colleges. The career of teaching is taken serious by the senior faculties unlike other colleges which makes GL Bajaj as the best college in Noida.

The placement area of the college is very strange as it is very easy to bag a job of 3 LPA whosoever sit in the placement in the name of mass recruitment. But when the companies with more than 3 LPA visit our college, there is no noise, and no one gets to know about it except the students who are selected by the teachers. One can get a job of Rs. 20 LPA as the highest package in the college for MBA and a job of 2 LPA as the lowest package for the same course. The students are required to do the internship in the same course they have applied for and it increases the chance of them getting a good package during placement.

Living in hostel in GL Bajaj is considered as the most terrible idea to do as it will not add up in your good college life rather than makes it worse. After living in a jail like classroom environment for 9 hours continuously, you want to come and rest in your hostel room, but it is hot inside as there are no AC rooms in the hostel. The food is even bad, and I always had to order something from outside on every other day. The washroom is always dirty and there hardly is the cleaning done. The foul smell from the washroom used to come in our rooms and it became kind of our daily life. The wi-fi is available in the hostel but it is only for the senior students.

The infrastructure of the GL Bajaj college is not good enough as mentioned in the college’s prospectus. The buildings are small, but the classrooms are airy. The hostel is divided in the senior and junior within itself and the rooms are not that spacious. The facilities and quality of your room is increased when you are becoming senior and then super senior. The labs and workshops of the college is the specialty which makes it rank good in whole Noida. They have programs such as MIC - Microsoft Innovation Centre, DIC - Design Innovation Centre and AIC -Apple Innovation Centre.

There is no campus life for the first-year students as they must maintain at least 85% attendance or else they will call your parents. They must follow the dress code everyday of the college. It is overall a good college life for the seniors as they get numerous opportunities.
