GIT Jaipur ranked A by Rajasthan Technical University and received the title of one of the best colleges in Rajasthan. GIT Sitapura was established in 2002 and giving its best in the technical field by giving tough competition to all the engineering colleges in Jaipur since its inception. Taking admission to GIT was a life-changing decision for me. GIT played a very important role in shaping my future other than this it also built my personality. My college is also accredited by NCDRC as the only college of Rajasthan to be an AI- cyber defense research center. The admission process is so easy, you have a minimum of 45 % in the 12th class ( 40% FOR SC/ST). Global Institute of Technology Sitapura management is so humble, they guided me on each step in my college life. I would like to thank my teachers, staff, and management for making those four years of college life so adorable.

I joined mechanical engineering Global Institute of Technology Jaipur in the year 2017. I got admission through the REAP exam so I got a scholarship. I chose this because I wanted to get tremendous exposure to the industrial and research environment. Mechanical engineering has the essence of problem-solving. It is like shaping an idea into reality and I had a deep interest in machines so it was the main reason that I took admission into this course. And also the future in mechanical engineering is so good it has a vast scope in India as well as in foreign. You can go to any of the areas like chemical manufacturing plants, automobile industries, aerospace, etc. mechanical engineering has five to six subjects usually five, all the subjects were above my expectation. Yes of course mechanical engineering will help you to get the job but you have to work harder. This branch will help you to get jobs like a senior mechanical engineer, instrumentation engineer, automation engineer, and they all are highly paid jobs.

Mechanical engineering has five subjects so accordingly there were five teachers, per subject one teacher was there. In GIT there were sections of classes distributed on a name basis, there were four-section at my time so every section had five teachers. Around one twenty-five or one twenty-six mentors were there when I did the study in GIT. All the mentors were very highly qualified, they had a minimum of four to five years of experience in their respective fields. They all taught us well, even they helped me to be a better person.

The training and placement cell of college provides students a platform to work with industries and to gain valuable experience. They will help you to get a job according to your potential. Training and placement cell acts as the interface between you and the companies. Our college T&P also arrange motivational seminars and career counseling seminars to show you the right way and to discover your potential. The motivational seminars are by great aluminous and from great leaders. The cell also arranges group discussions and aptitude training classes. Visiting companies are IBM, Wipro, Daffodil, Collabera, Yamaha, Eicher, Infosys, Meta Cube, Airtel, CSC, HP, Bosch, NBC, and many others. At my time the highest package offered was eight lakhs. The average package at that time was 4.5 to 5 lakhs. Around seventy percent of mine got placement in top companies. And including me, many of my friends didn’t sit in placements.

College has a total of seven hostels in which four of boys and three girl’s hostels. So, girls have their separate hostels, and boys have their own. Hostel fee per year is 95000 for a double-seated room, 85000 for a triple seated room, 80000 for a quadruple seated room. And for non-air-conditioned 70000 for triple seated room, 65000 for a quadruple seated room. GIT mess serves only vegetarian food with proper hygiene, the food is full of nutrients so that it keeps students healthy. The menu is planned after the consultation of hostellers. In the morning you will have tea and breakfast, after that, you will get lunch and after that, you will get snacks and tea and in the evening you will get dinner and at night you will get the milk in last. All the hostels are secured as all hostels are guarded by a security guard.

College is spread over an area of 10 acres of land. The whole campus is centrally air-conditioned, there are six academic blocks all having lifts, Wi-Fi facility is also available. All the lecture halls are equipped with modern teaching tools. All the laboratories have the latest and modern equipment. There is a huge library in our college spread over an area of 12000 sq. feet, having technical and non-technical books and there are so many journals available in our library. Around 50000 books are available in the library. The library facility is available for 27*7 hours. College also has a huge auditorium which has a capacity of 450-500 people and there is a cafeteria too.

Campus life was so good, it completely changed me. Our college conducts many fests like Tech extreme which is a national-level technical festival, Jazba which is an annual cultural festival and I volunteered many of them. Every year our college conducts sports meet and for promoting our culture Ratri b4 Navratri festival is also organized in the college. Clubs like OSTC, SAEINDIA Collegiate, MWTC are there in college. Every year college conducts youthful activities like blood donation drives, etc. An activity named Cyclothen happens every year in the college in which many passionate riders express their love for nature by holding banners of the motto of Go-green and stop pollution.
