I joined this college since it provides friendly learning environment. It is more helpful to the students who are aiming to do multiple activities to build their career like taking coaching and graduating here. Classes are held till afternoon so that you get more time to focus on other things as well. These are the reasons for which I chose this college. I recommend this college if someone is interested in various cultural and co-curricular activities so that they are largely benefited.

Nizam is greatly known for its history. To get admission in this college eligibility is 10+2. Requirements: income certificate, caste certificate, inters certificates, Aadhar number that is linked to phone number. Once you get a place in Nizam for the course you applied, you should download the acknowledgment letter and visit college for seat allotment on specified date. If you don’t get seat in college there’s a chance to apply for the second phase and third phase. We can apply for number of courses we are interested into. Nizam college offers courses like BA, BBA, B.Com, and B.Sc. There are limited seats and one should have at least above 90% to get seat. B.Com has strong competition since college offer very limited seats one should have at least 95% to get a seat. Nizam college selects the top students of world. Even foreigners are selected here.

One advantage about the college is that teachers are hired for long run here. We are taught by the well educated and experienced professors and assistant professors. Being genuine about their skills, they are not up to the mark. Speaking skills, teaching skills, presentation, explanation is really not that good. Students here get regularly absent and no strict rules are followed. There is not a healthy bond between the students and teachers. Here mostly everything is taught manually. Very less digital classes are held here. No proper book for academics is suggested by the teachers. People mostly depend on social media sources and online pdf. No strict administration is followed.

Yes, placements are given here. But not more placements are given. Nizam is famously known for its friendly environment to study and largely encourages you if you are interested to participate into social issues forming organisations. If you are very dedicated towards placements so being industrious is important since there are less placements.

Yes, residential facilities are provided in Nizam college for both boys and girls. Girl’s hostel facilities were recently provided. But for first year UG student’s hostel is not given. From second year we are allowed to get hostel seat we need to apply on the given date. 8,500 is the annual fee for the hostel. Infrastructure of hostel is good. We get good food. Good rooms. But we need to adjust since we have large population. Little senior domination can be seen in boys and girls hostel. We can make a lot of friends and memories in the hostel.

Nizam was established in 1887 during Nizam rule built by Mir Osman Ali Khan. Since it is a very old building obviously all the walls are old. College is full of greenery where you will love to spend more time. We are provided with all courses departments. But all the buildings are very old. No proper lights and fans are provided. No proper switches. We are given with big spacious ground where games are largely encouraged. Many tournaments are also conducted. A canteen where you get only 4-5 items. Washrooms are not well cleaned. Rooms are also not properly cleaned and when we sit on benches our dresses gets dirty. Library is full of books and almost 200 members can sit in the library at a time. Many books are also provided. Academic books are also provided. They do issue library cards too.

Campus feels good and the greenery lets you spend a lot of time there. Largely people are selected so we can see crowd in college. It is full of students. Clubs like NSS and entrepreneurship cell are facilitated here. Fests like annual day, freshers, farewell and traditional day are also celebrated in the college. NCC is also there in the college.
