Best suitable for near residing students

Overall Rating
Study wise Government Degree College For Boys Udhampur is great. The teachers are excellent and they help their students to achieve the academic success, talking about me. I had to choose this college because it was nearest to my house. The college ground is huge and plenty of room to hangout between classes.
 

Academics Rating
A lot of courses are available in this college course such as B.SC, BBA, BCA, etc subject range is quite wide too. There are a lot of majors to choose from. The college staff is also big. There are 6 to 7 teachers per department and 2 lab assistants. There is no specific eligibility to get into it. Just make sure to have at least 50 percentage in boards and clear CUET, and that's it.
 

Faculty Rating
As already stated there are a variety of courses available with a lot of major options available. There are at least 6 to 7 teachers per department. The teachers consist of a HOD and other assignment professors who are contractual by agreement. There is also a shuffling of teachers every 5 years and a teacher review system is also provided semester by semester.
 

Placement Rating
No there is no placement system.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the hostel is available however only provided to the students who are far from a different place. There are two hostels one inside campus and the other one just outside. However, there is no girls hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure-wise the college is great, it has a lot of rooms, classes, and labs etc. There are three major buildings and other rooms. There are over 35 classrooms and labs for each department. There is also a library with almost books for each and every subject, it is also a nice place to chill. A computer lab is also there with almost 20 PCs, a college ground is there with a lot of sports facilities available such as football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, chess, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Our college is fairly crowded with a number of students. There is no club or gym. However there is one thing I would like to add, that is the college organise a picnic, every year at a cheap price. There are also sports tournaments, especially volleyball. The students are nice and not very aggressive. No ragging has been observed by me yet.
