Sphoorthy Engineering College B.Tech Review By Thammi Soumya

I am a 4th year ECE student at Sphoorthy Engineering college. My overall experience at SPHN is average. The campus is big enough compared too many nearby colleges, but that will not matter too. The college offers decent placements. We will get core companies too. Every student will get a minimum of 3 LPA.

The academics facilities are good enough to keep you focused. You should get at least a rank of 35000 in TSEAMCET for ECE branch in general category (that may vary according to recent trends and your category). They provide training for DSA and provide many courses too. The administration is strict when it comes to academics.

The syllabus is completed according to the schedule and exams. They teach very well. You will have a mentor and you can contact them in case of any problems. The faculty is well experienced and will have good qualification. They will give frequent assignments while examinations. We can clear our doubts anytime.

There are separate blocks/buildings for each department and combined block for first years. The labs are good maintained in terms of cleanliness. There is a canteen to buy things. There are hostels for boys and girls. There will be a road wherever you go in the college. There are CCTV cameras to monitor students.

Campus life at any B.Tech college is vibrant if you have good connections, or else it will be difficult. There are some cultural fests and flash mobs conducted in the college many times. There are many clubs in the college and every student should have membership in at least one club. Some festivals will be conducted in the college too.
