The curriculum of Delhi Skill & Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) is good and you definitely learn a lot about the subjects but they're not really advanced. You'd still need to explore them on your own. I did my Bachelor's in Banking, Financial Services & Insurance and got a decent exposure to the markets but the curriculum was almost the same as the NISM or NCFM modules apart from a couple of subjects such as Corporate Finance, Statistics, and Ethics. But at the same time, they're available online for dirt-cheap prices. If you're considering between this and other universities then you should definitely go for a more reputable college as it'll be better for your placements and internships.

The academic part of the story is the only thing that is somewhat good because you do get the practical learning that you're promised but at the same time you'll have to lower your expectations as even for subjects like Financial Statement Analysis, there would probably be just a single person who'd do it properly and learn from it, and since the rest 59 people wouldn't do it to learn.

The faculties are extremely good over here and are as competent as you'd expect. They've got a vast pool of knowledge and insights. They are very friendly and supportive of the students. As long as you're trying to learn and do something, there's a huge scope for you as they'd support you through it all. Of course, there are gonna be highs and lows but at the end of the day, you're looking for someone's knowledge and support, so it is a good place in that context.

We did have a placement cell, but being the first batch the placements weren't the best. Everyone got offers of sales jobs and only people with personal connections were able to go to a relatively decent place. But that's to be expected for a couple of years, and as per the effectiveness of the curriculum I'm pretty sure over time this is bound to improve significantly.

No, we did not have any hostel facilities here. There was a hostel on the premises but it was given to some other organisation and was out of bounds for us. But there are PGs nearby which are pretty affordable and you'd get some flatmates easily within a single semester.

The college had a decent infrastructure. All the facilities you'd expect such as the labs, projectors, canteen, grounds, open amphitheatre, bio and chemistry labs, etc. The classrooms are in very good condition as far as other government universities are in comparison. There are world-class education halls on the top floor and all the equipment was in good condition as well. Overall 8/10, it was good.

Overall you'll have a pretty good campus life here. You're not going to be finding a very rich crowd in the context of talent, skills, or personality. If you're gonna lower your expectations and be ready to accept that then great but coming from a decent school with exceptional talent and opportunities. I definitely felt a huge gap and you're definitely gonna feel that.
