Govt Mahila Engineering College B.Tech Review By Shreya Gupta

In this college I gained lot of knowledge about the engineering field. The teaching staff is very supportive in the carrier guidance. Placement record is also very impressive which makes every student to think about studying in this college. Last year one of the students got a package of 32 LPA, which is very impressive. Our TPO head Mr. Yashwin Gupta is also very supportive and kind and available every time when we need him. I am currently in third year and I have experienced a lot of situations. In our college apart from studies, sports are also considered as a part of our life and various tournaments are being conducted time-to-time. "Taksh" was organised in our college last year and the winners are also awarded.

Talking about the academics, the teaching staff is also very supportive. Practical are also being performed time-to-time and evaluation is also being done. Practical knowledge is very crucial for the engineering field and our college gives us that knowledge in a very proficient manner. Mid terms are also conducted according to which each student is being awarded the marks which are to be sent to the university. To be eligible, the student should be of science background and should appear for the JEE examination. The motive of our college is to make women educate so that they also make a stand in the society.

Talking about the teaching staff and members all of them are very supportive and ready to help the student in the academics each time they need. Most of the lecturers teach us using smart board giving us presentations. They also make use of board to write or draw diagrams so that we are able to understand easily. All the lecturers are from well educated background and all of them teach us the way we are able to understand easily. They also take our doubts regularly which make us understand the topic more clearly and in more depth.

Yes, we have a Placement Cell in our college and they really take care of the placement of every student. They regularly remind us about the various opportunities about the internship role or job role. They also conduct placement drive in our college for the on-campus interviews. This makes every student easy and comfortable to take part in interviews and get entry in industry.

Yes, there is residential facility in our college but I am a localite, so I don't know much about it. But my friends told me that infrastructure is very good and food of mess is also good as compared to food prepared at home. Hostel life is also very exciting and every festival is also celebrated at our hostel.

Academic blocks have also been divided according to the requirement. Juniors have their separate block for the classes and seniors have theirs. This makes every student to not travel much searching for their classrooms. We also have library which provides us various reference books to study in detail. All books are separated as per the topics so that it is easy to find them. We also have various practical labs where we perform experiments and gain practical skills.

Overall campus is very nice from the entry gate to the hostel gate. There is greenery around and inside our college. We have various clubs like yoga club, coding club named cyber fynatics, eco club, robotic club, innovation club, etc. and activities are conducted regularly like there was Code Gala competition conducted by Cyber Fynatics Group. Innovation Club helps students to present their innovative ideas about projects and lecturers help them to achieve over it.
