The institute as a whole, I picked firstly due the low faculty-student ratio which makes the teachers aware of each student. The eligibility criterion which is 60% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics 12th standard, was sensible and feasible. The application procedure, including a submission of all required documents, was user-friendly and easy-to-follow, which provided future students with a convenient way to apply.

Since my college offers B.Sc for those who want to study nautical science, therefore, percentage in the exam required an average of at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th standard. Besides that, the degree expected us to have healthy eyesight and normal color vision. The medical exam was the other process that was used to admit the students into the college.

At my university, there were approximately 7 professors attending 140 students in a batch that was somewhere around 1 professor for every 20 students in a class. Besides, we also had captains who taught us different subjects too. The faculty members were great, very amenable and prompt when problems came up in class. Summing up, I can say that the faculty was great and easily approachable.

Yes, I was staying in the hostel. The overall fees of about 9-10 lakhs had the hostel and mess charges included. The quality of food was okay. The college is situated in southern India, which made it a little difficult for north Indians to survive due to the change in food.

The campus is characterized by its new academic buildings, which are differentiated into blocks, housing classrooms, lecture halls, and laboratories with advanced technology. Other buildings such as administrative buildings, libraries with expansive resources, and student activity centers are also constructed. The recreation facilities, transportation services, and dining locations are included in the overall experience, thus offering a full package for students who are highly focused on achieving academic success in a conducive environment.

It can be said with confidence that the life of the campus catered to its students well in the field of academics, sports, and entertainment. The college has separate facilities for football, basketball, and swimming pools equipped with respective teams for each sport. With this experience, talking classes became a new and thrilling chapter in my education. I was an active participant in fests, clubs, and every such thing.
