I have chosen this college due to the flexibility of courses, which means that you can choose whichever program you want. Others should go for the same because according to me, if they have plans for their future; they will benefit from the courses here, as for me I will go for M.Sc that is masters in science. As for the experience, it is good as you get to meet new students and experience new things which will make you future ready.

Information for bachelor of science, which is the course in which I have enrolled in, is required knowledge of basic chemistry, physics, and mathematics along with English and one extra subject which is environmental science; you must be 12th pass and have to submit your mark sheet of 10th and 12th class, along with transfer certificate issued by the school. You can take admission in this college on the basis of merit or on the basis of CUET exam and other government exams as this is a government university.

For the ratio of faculty to students, the ratio is about 1 faculty for 50 students which is okay but must improve. In my course, there are 5 teachers who hold masters degrees in different fields. The way they teach is different for every teacher, they teach in a book oriented manner and according to the syllabus provided by the university. They teach in a simple manner with some good examples and with practicals for chemistry and physics. We also attend lab classes which are beneficial for practicals held twice a year.

The number of placements given by this college is not very high and the average package that one can expect is around 10-15 thousand per month, which is not good. The students have to take the initiative to find jobs.

Talking about the infrastructure of this college, it is good as they have library, parking space, and some gardens for students to eat lunch in. They have equipments for sports such as cricket, basketball, hockey, and football. The structure of the building is old but it has been repaired from time to time as it is one of the oldest colleges. In the library, there are many books available related to academics, history, and geography which the students can issue. There are some clubs such as sports club, dance club, etc. which students participate in every year.

Life at campus is fun as you get to meet new students; some of them are juniors and some of them are seniors. This college is not very crowded but has a decent amount of students in every course, every year. There are clubs available which students can join in the 1st year, these are economics club, and some sports clubs related too football, basketball, and hockey. Sports that are available include cross country, athletics, archery, soft ball, swimming, volley ball, baseball, table tennis, chess, badminton, football, kho-kho, etc. There was one fest which was held in March 2023 called ‘Utsav’ and it is the only one held till date.
