Quantum University BCA Review By Priya Grover

I pursued BCA from this university. The teachers here are mostly good; some are not as good as others. The atmosphere is fine, the campus is fine, but the placements in the college are not as good as they advertise. They only worry about money making. Most of the companies that visit here are mostly for sales and they make everyone appear for the sales companies only. I would say if you only want to attend the college for a degree, then you may go for it but otherwise, there are many other colleges better than this out there.

You do not need any special qualification to enroll in this program as all they care about is money. The faculty is decent but you will have to put in a lot of effort to learn everything by yourself if you want to gain knowledge needed to land a good job. Some teachers are good and willing to help, though.

The faculty here is decent. Most of them have knowledge of the subjects they are teaching, but sometimes the university appoints teachers to classes that are not related to the subject if they are short on staff. This creates a problem as the students have to study whole programming subjects themselves. The faculty here also changes frequently. We have had a subject teacher changed thrice in one semester.

There is a Placement Cell but they definitely do not care whether the students are getting decent placements or not. When I sat for placements, most of the companies that were visiting were for customer support or sales roles and the Placement Cell was forcing everyone to sit for them whether the students were from BCA, B.Tech, or MBA. I was placed in a company that never responded to me after talking to them in the college and the placement cell did nothing about it.

Yes, there are hostels but I did not live there as I was a local resident.

The infrastructure of the campus is fine. It is not very big. The campus building is divided into two parts and I guess there was a third part of the building when I was studying there. There was only one sports ground in the college campus and the washrooms sometimes did not even have water in them, so it was a hassle. So, I would say it was not very great.

The campus life in this university is decent but it is not as good as you would expect from a university. They have regular fests but they never call good singers. Our batch did not even get a fresher party or a farewell party as juniors and seniors decided not to contribute. They did not even return our security fees and it's been over one year since I graduated, and they never reply to our emails.
