SVIMS Indore Insights From Alumni’s Perspective

Overall Rating
Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management & Science, Indore is very good when it comes to academics, as the curriculum and faculty members are very carefully selected. Only thing which is a little problematic is the strict attendance system. If you don’t have 75% attendance, you would not be allowed to sit in exams for real. This is the best institute as the university toppers are from here only most of the times. If you are looking for good academic Institute then you should go for it.
 

Academics Rating
I pursued BCA from SVIMS Indore. I enrolled for this course because I was very much interested in Computer and its applications. To be eligible for this course, you should pass class 12th boards with PCM. In this course, one learns about Computer, its functions, operating system, Computer languages like Java, Python, C++, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Almost all the faculty members are good at SVIMS Indore. They teach in a very easy to understand manner. My course faculties are very polite and helpful. Even if some students do not know the very basics of computer, they will teach them with the same passion. They are always ready to clear our doubts. They use smart boards while teaching. Teacher student bonding and ratio both are good. I am very happy with the faculty the institute has hired.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the institute has a placement cell. It helps students in lots of ways to acquire a good placement in good company. There is also an entrepreneur cell, which helps students with their startup ideas. The institute also tries to raise funds for the startups.
 

Hostel Rating
It has residential facilities for both students and teachers. I can honestly say that the hostel infrastructure is really good. The rooms are furnished well. Hostels washrooms are also kept clean. The mess food is tasty. For security there are guards 24/7.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Institute has good infrastructure. The Institute building is good and the campus has laws with pretty flowers. Water coolers are there for clean drinking water. Institute’s library is good and has many books. Practical labs are present for each specific subject. Labs are equipped with all the required instruments and software. Labs are separate for UG and PG students. Students can park their vehicles inside the campus parking facility. The institute lacks in transport facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Our Institute organized various fests and events, which keep the campus life colorful. There is a ‘Prabhandhostsav’ in which many celebrities are invited, it’s a type of concert where we, eat and be merry. The institute also organizes camping specially in villages. Though the camps are for boys only. Sports events are also organized such as ‘Khelotsav’. Health checkups are also organized. My overall campus life was really good.

    SVIM provides holistic development of a student. It has very nominal fees for the courses compared to others and the faculty members are so experienced and friendly. Apart from the education SVIM organises various events and workshop for the students. It not only impart and focuses on education but also focus on the extra curriculum activities....     This institute is best if you are looking for paramount learning experience along with practical development in budget. I chose this institute because of reputation, faculty, and good environment. If you aren't from the Commerce field, I think this institute is best because they will teach you from the scratch so you won't feel like you are missing something out that you had to know.
