College Life in VVIT

Overall Rating
VVIT is known for its rules and events. I like the college for the way they celebrate all the events. I like the college fest, Balotsav, movie promotions, etc. I don't like some rules in the college although I like the college environment, it is so good. College organises 3 days college fest every year in December.
 

Academics Rating
For management quota admission, you can directly contact the college management. They give the admission based on previous exams marks. For convener quota admission, you need to write the AP EAMCET exam and apply in AP EAMCET counselling. In the counseling, you can get college admission based on the cutoff ranks.
 

Faculty Rating
Every department has good faculty to student ratio. I am from IT department. In my department, every faculty member is good at teaching except one. All faculty members in my department have completed M.Tech and are currently pursuing Ph.D. Some faculty has completed Ph.D. In my department, faculty has good knowledge and great teaching experience.
 

Placement Rating
College training for placements starts from the first semester itself.
 

Hostel Rating
College provides both boys and girls hostels. Girls’ hostel is located inside college premises and boys’ hostel is located 10 kms away from the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Some people call our college as the Red Fort of Guntur because of its red color infrastructure in the college buildings. Our college has good library facility which includes both library and e-library and every department in the college has 3 projectors for presentation and classes. Our college is a Wi-Fi equipped campus and every classroom has ACs also.
 

Campus Rating
Total 16 clubs are there in my college. Every Friday afternoon from 2 to 4, we have a clubs’ period. College organises 2 majors event in the months of November and December every year. In November, they organise Balotsav for children to celebrate Children’s day for 3 days. In December, VVITA fest happens for 3 days.

    Overall institute has friendly environment. The staff in the institute is very knowledgeable. The placement and activities provided by faculty to improve our knowledge are splendid.
