IIIT Bhagalpur is one of the new IIITs established by government of India. The college has everything you need for a better future. Good infrastructure, sports facilities, coding culture, alumni network, and everything. Many times you might think that it is a new college but it is growing very fast and will be at new heights in the coming years. The placement of the college is great from the very beginning and even during the recession time; most of our seniors are getting placed with over 10 LPA. The college also provides opportunities for higher studies like M.Tech, Ph.D and also provides you with scholarship and help for financially weak students in every possible way.

The academic review of the college is never ending as it has a lot to talk about. From the very beginning, the college has seen high growth in its placements and the main reason for it is its excellent academic quality. All the professors are Ph.D and IIT graduates with at least 10 years of experience and the curriculum is well designed as from the very first year students are focused on coding and soft skill development. There are various clubs like AMC, robotics, and cyber security which are growing day by day. The college also provides opportunity for entrepreneurship in our E-Cell which provides funding to students with new ideas to work on them.

Faculties are well-qualified, most of them are Ph.D and IIT graduates. They have a good teaching background in many IITs and NITs. Faculties have a good grip on their subject and try to provide the best knowledge to the students; both academic and industry knowledge. Faculties also support students in their projects and new ideas, which is a great thing. Every faculty here is available 24×7 for student support, both in academic and non academic life.

The Placement Cell of our college works day and night for bringing best offers to the students. Many 4th year students are also involved in Placement Cell to make it much more transparent for the students. The great work of our Placement Cell has maintained our average package above 10 LPA, even during recession period. The Placement Cell brings offers to both CS and non CS backgrounds, so that is a great thing.

The best and greatest thing is that now we have our own hostel (Kautilya Chhatravas). This is, I may say, one of the best parts of our college. The hostel itself is a thing to look for. It has all the facilities from sports to lifts to everything. Hostel is renewed every semester to make it look like it was on the very first day. Every day, our HAB board tries to improve things in our hostel. There is a transparent working of the hostel HAB board and queries of the students are always heard. It is a five floor building with a capacity of around 600 students. Each room has 2 fans, a balcony, almira, tables, chairs, and bed. We also have our own mess in the hostel so you don't have to hustle for food.

The campus has a large academic block which is built recently and it has some of the best facilities for the students of the college. The classrooms are AC equipped; there is good lightning and spacious environment so it is good for study in the classrooms. There is a lot of free space near the academic block to spend time in between classes. We also have our own cafeteria to enjoy delicacies after tiring classes. We have a large playground where you can play any sport; football, cricket, hockey, badminton, etc. Every year, we conduct sports fest for the students. We have a safe environment for girls and security guards are present all the time for our safety. We have latest equipment in the labs to work on our ideas and live the best engineering life.

We have a huge campus of more than 50 acres which is built on the bank of Ganga river. The campus is new and all the buildings have basic facilities like lifts and ACs. The crowd is less, not like private colleges where there are 1000 students in every branch. We have less but quality crowd from all over the country. The clubs are very active in our college, every weekend we have our club meets and it is easy to get into clubs and work for our college and on our personal skillset. Seniors support a lot during club activities. We also celebrate Saraswati Puja, Holi, Deepawali, and many other festivals in our college to maintain a pure and religious environment. We have technical clubs like AIML, robotics, cyber security, web development, etc., and cultural club like samwaad, girate, sargam, animeverse, etc.
