"Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar" Has always been known as internationally acclaimed B-school. Choosing XIMB Bhubaneswar over other B-schools was a natural choice for me, being from the state of Odisha."XIMB" Holds sixth rank among top 100 B-schools of our country. Currently, the institute is ranked at 31 positions in NIRF MBA ranking. XIMB BBSR is well-known for its teaching pattern, highly intellectual faculty members,100% placement rates, state-of -art campus, student friendly environment above all the commitment to develop future managers with high moral and ethical value. The institute is approved by UGC and CRISIL. XIMB also holds accreditations by SAQS, NBA and a member of reputed Global Jesuit higher education. My admission was through XAT score followed by GD/PI/WAT round. Candidate also with CAT/GMat/X-GMT scores are eligible for the selection process. One need to be truthful while answering the interview questions. The best part of the institute is its rich 33 years history in creating pioneers in management field. When I was in the institute, it has only one campus currently expanded its horizon to two. The collage management focuses on overall growth of a student. At ximb students and faculties are placed in house. Hostels here are equipped with all the modern amenities.

I had joined PGDM course, currently known as MBA. My joining was through XAT score followed by GD/PI round. It was my dream to join a corporate office as a manager, I got placed with ICICI Bank through college placement. I must say my decision to join the course was right.

The student teacher ratio maintained at XIMB is 1:15. The faculties are selected through various rounds of selections process. Most of the faculties hold PhD degree. All have to follow the in house teaching methodology. One cannot question the knowledge level of the teachers. They are giants in their fields with various research and published papers. Ximb provides detailed information on their site about each faculty's educational background. Each student is provided with personal mentors for their doubt clearance and any other course related issues. Teachers ensure that each student understands the subject well, Or you can approach them for special guidance at any point of time.

The placement at Ximb is taken care by Career Advisory Services (CAS). This is an elected body of students with two faculty members for guidance. The placement rate at XIMB is 100%. Company like TCS, ICICI, Deloitte, Emami and many more reputed one are a must at placement desk. Internationally, the highest package offered at placement was 56 lakhs, the basic package starts at 14 lakhs. As per my knowledge, all my batch mates got placed through college placement.

Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. There are seven blocks with six hundred rooms with the facilities like geyser, Wi-Fi, washing machine, television with common play area is available. More than one mess is available inside the campus with both vegetarian and non-veg options. Security is a main priority at Ximb.24*7 security with guards ensure safety of interns. I had the best collage hostel experience at XIMB Hostel XIMB Hostel, the quality of food provided is high. Quality is regularly checked by committee members. If you are not satisfied, you can complain about the same.

XIMB campus is spread over 20 acres, with plenty of greenery to sooth your eyes. Classrooms are soundproof to provide an undisturbed experience. All buildings are spread over 20 acres of area in a well-connected manner. Currently, there is provision of single flat rooms for interested students. X-cafe is the centre of attraction for students to hang around with friend and some instant food. The experience of auditorium, laboratories, workshops are world-class. Library is the proud property of Ximb with thousands of books by renowned authors. The faculties at ximb are also writer of some internationally acclaimed books. One can experience the higher stands of amenities at ximb.

The student life at ximb is vibrant with management fests, competitions, sports, study sessions, social awareness activities. As an Alumine, I feel proud to be a part of the community. The annual cultural fest holds a good deal of biz talk, business conclaves, competitions to boost the spirit of students. At Ximb the spirit of students never goes low, it is hard to describe the experience in words. The spirit of campus life is always high, and plays special role to shape the students into better persons. The campus shapes the student into high performing management personal.
