City college, Kolkata Review

Overall Rating
My overall experience at this college is good. Teacher's are supportive and provide quality knowledge. College authority provide us our basic needs like drinking water, study material and other things. The surrounding of the college is good. Good transportation is available. The building is quite older and reminds us the British ruler’s time. I suggest everyone who looking for a good quality education can apply for this college. Hopefully you will not regret.
 

Academics Rating
In case of B.Com honors, candidate with a roughly 60% in aggregate is eligible for filling up admission form. The percentage is slightly down for lower caste. The process of enrollment is very easy and college website is updated time to time. Besides an easy enrollment process the fees structure is very much affordable and backward families can also afford this.
 

Faculty Rating
A good number of teaching staffs are appointed to provide us better education. All of them are highly qualified and well trained. The ways they are teaching us is very impressive and make things easier to understand. They all are very friendly with us and very helpful. Besides this they also help us in other areas like applying for scholarship and others.
 

Placement Rating
We don't have any placement cell in our college. A very small number of placements are available in our college.
 

Hostel Rating
No hostel facility is available in our college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The whole college is situated in a single building where ever department as well as classes are interlink. Computer lab, research lab, common room, gaming room, union room and more are available at the college. Rooms are clean and quiet big. Drinkable water and bathroom are there on every floor. There is a small ground in middle of the building. But fans and benches need some improvement.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus life is very enjoyable. The college authority and the student union always arrange functions, fests and other entertainment related activities to make students enthusiastic and to create a friendly and healthy environment which is necessary for a college. In every year our college organise grand function named Sandrila and a picnic in the month of January.

    It’s among the best 10 colleges in Kolkata. As I am from commerce stream, it’s also famous for best among the commerce college. It is also a merit based college, everyone have to take admission by their 12th percentile. Overall good college, the faculty member and office member are very helpful.
