My College Review on Vikas College of Arts, Science and Commerce

Overall Rating
I chose the Vikas College of Arts, Science and Commerce as its environment is very good. The course curriculum is the same as the Mumbai University. You get free train passes in this college. One of the setbacks of this college is that many events are not conducted here, only one event is held every year. The teachers are very experienced here.
 

Academics Rating
This college has a simple process of admission. No entrance exam is needed to be given to take admission. If you pass with the minimum percentile of 45%, then you can easily get enrolled in this college. I opted for the Computer Science program. The most important part of this course is its practical aspect.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are well-qualified. They have an accurate degree in their respective streams. Most of the teachers give real-life examples and references regarding the current industry requirements. They teach through textbooks only.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the college but it is not so active.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is good. There is a ground to play sports and an auditorium for conducting events. The academic building has 4 floors. The library is on the 4th floor, it has a good amount of books, newspapers and magazines. The environment of the library is very studios. Students can issue and keep books with themselves for up to 7 days. The college has a good webinar room. The offices are on the first and second floor of the building.
 

Campus Rating
In this college, you can easily socialize through the NSS program. Only one big event is organised in this college in the month of January. Seminars are conducted very often. This college doesn’t have any dress code. The classrooms are not crowded or congested.

    Overall review is good for this college. I have spent my 5 years in this college starting from junior college of Vikas as an 11th, 12th to completing my Bachelor's of Commerce.
