College of Engineering Thalassery is the best in Malabar

I was informed about this college by my cousin. When I did research, I got to know that the college was the best in Malabar. It is a co-operative college that is aided by the government. It offers an awesome campus experience and close to nature environment. The teachers are very co-operative and they sincerely wish for our wellbeing and good future. I would suggest this college, since it provides most number of placements in Malabar and has various departments that are fully packed.

There are mainly 5 departments like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Civil Engineering (CE). Each classroom got 70 student’s strength. CSE and ECE have two classes that can accommodate a total 140 students for each department. Workshops with adequate staff and facilities are organised here. It also has labs, medical facilities, and other facilities in the college. The teachers and staff wishes for each student's good future. And so they support everyone equally. Book stores, reprographic facilities and a canteen are also available in the campus. Also there are 6 college buses for easy and safer commute of students. The college a library containing book with respect to teaching syllabus. Recently they have also introduced Masters of Business Administration (MBA).

There are adequate amount of teaching staffs in each department. And each of them is graduates in Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology and those who have higher degree are eligible for teaching as an Assistant professor. Each faculty has good and detailed knowledge on their respective subject and related field. All the staff in charge of lab, workshop, and medic is licensed and skilled in their own stream.

Yes, College of Engineering Thalassery has a placement cell. They provide placement training for students from 6th semester and bring numerous multinational, local and startup companies to the college. They also conduct job fair in college.

Currently there is a hostel facility for girls inside the college campus that is controlled by college itself. For boys, they have numerous rented houses and a private hostel in college premises. Girl’s hostel is safe and secure.

Each department has separate building except for CSE, IT, CE, and MBA. CSE and IT resides in the same building but the building has enough classrooms for accommodating all 4th year students of CSE and IT. Also there are 3 computer labs in CSE & IT department. MBA is also combined with Civil Engineering department building. There are seminar halls for each department. A Girl’s common room is also there for dealing with their personal and religious purposes. Mechanical workshop has separate building that is a bit far away from others to avoid accidents and noise. There is enough parking area and big sports ground in the campus. An auditorium (indoor) is under construction.

The college is really crowded with students since it is a prestigious college in Malabar. But the college got more than enough space for accommodating all its students. There will be yearly union day, fresher’s day, and arts and tech-fest which will last for 2 or 3 days. Department wise competitions are also conducted here. Campus ambience is very refreshing as it is full of trees, pond and a photo frame. College is on isolated area so you can have a private college life.
