KIIT School of Law has its own Training and Placement Cell

KIIT School of law, situated in Bhubaneswar is an institution established in 2007. I am a B.A. LL.B student. This program combines legal education with Liberal Arts. The curriculum is well rounded and carefully curated to serve the needs of the students. Moot courts, various seminars and workshops are conducted to provide skill development and practical exposure, which is very needed in this profession. The faculty is very well trained, knowledgeable and supportive, fostering a conducive learning environment. The mess food provided here is better than other colleges. Television is also there in the mess. A well informed notice board is there in the hostel so that everyone is well informed. The sweet and supportive warden helps us allot. KSOL has a modern infrastructure which includes a well-stocked library with digital resources which helps us academically. Extracurricular activities especially sports and student societies add to the vibrant campus life. A gym, table tennis, snooker and swimming facilities are also available. Placement opportunities are good. This institute has ties with renowned firms. The administration is also responsive to the student needs. Overall, I embrace my choice of choosing KSOL as it is a solid choice for students like me who aspire to see themselves as legal professionals.

The programs provided here are undergraduate, post graduate as well as doctorate. The courses offered at KSOL are B.A. LL.B, BBA LL.B and B.Sc. LL.B. These integrated courses provide us with dual degree. Through this we development a strong foundation in both the fields. To get enrolled here the student students must have more than 55% in their 12th standard. Courses are allotted on the basis of your CLAT or KIITEE exam score.

KSOL has extremely qualified and educated faculties. They have a very supporting behavior. Doubt clearing sessions provided by them are very helpful. The study material they give is quite informative. Mentors who are our faculty members are assigned to the students to them help academically and in times of distress. This is a great step as I find it very helpful.

The KIIT School of Law has its own Training and Placement Cell. They have tie ups with reputed law firms and companies like Deloitte, Bajaj Allianz, Khaitan and Co., etc. This helps students to secure internships and jobs in these top firms. This cell provides us with an internship diary. This helps us record our internship experiences and highlights.

The hostels here are safe and sound. Well lit, spacious and clean rooms are available with AC facilities. There is Wi-Fi, electricity, clean cold drinking water, washing machines as well as geysers in the hostels. The hostel rooms are cleaned and mopped daily by the janitors. The mess food is good and nutritious with a variety for the vegetarian and non vegetarian students.

The campus is a lush green place with very beautiful seasonal flowers which are always maintained by the gardener. Huge and spacious classrooms are there with ACs and smart boards. This provides a great learning experience. The food court in the campus is really good with all types of foods available. The huge library is a plus point as it really adds to the learning experience.

The campus life is really happening and healthy. Fests like Ganesh Puja celebrations, Holi celebrations, Eid celebrations really add to the great vibe here. We have student run societies like NSS and Legal Aid Clinic which deals with the academic endeavors. Other societies like Junks, Sports society, Korale, Kalandika, etc. are also there for the cultural aspects. The crowd here is decent.
