ARMIET- A Good Institute

Overall Rating
This institute is pretty average. I had a really bad score in the MHTCET exam; because of this I was only able to get into ARMIET. Overall, there are decent facilities available in the institute. The only problem I had faced was transport. This institute doesn’t provide any transportation facility.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently doing the Computer Engineering course. I got around 45 percentile in MHTCET and I think the cutoff for this institute was around 20 percentile. I enrolled for this course because I was interested in the game development, so I thought this branch will be good. For getting admission in ARMIET you have to give MHTCET or JEE. You can also get admission by management quota.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are not good at teaching, so you must not be dependent on them. Rather you should focus on self study. The faculty will only teach through textbooks. Practicals are not regularly conducted. This institute follows the pattern of the Mumbai University. So the syllabus taught is really good.
 

Placement Rating
I am not sure about placements but our institute does have a training and placement cell. I have heard that a few students might get placed based on their knowledge.
 

Hostel Rating
ARMIET does not have any hostel facilities. But if you are from any other city you can rent a room. The institute can help you in getting rooms for rent which you can share with the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is small but it provides the basic facilities like Wi-Fi, library, canteen, workshop, gym, computer labs, etc. but they are not well maintained. Our institute has projectors in each class, so that is a plus point.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life at ARMIET is decent. A few years back the campus life used to feel empty, but nowadays it feels better as there are a few events which are conducted in the institute. About 3 or 4 events are organised per semester. There are no clubs.
