Comprehensive Review on Yashwantrao Chavan Law College Pune

Overall Rating
My overall time at Yashwantrao Chavan Law college was favorable. The teaching staff is very experienced and possesses great knowledge. College usually held moot court competitions which are very beneficial for future legal knowledge. The administrative aspect is tough and sometimes admission process and other office work takes time and are difficult. Apart from that on general perspective college offers great education and opportunities.
 

Academics Rating
I have opted for LL.B the three year course. The entry requirement is an entrance exam conducted by MHCET cell. The eligibility is any graduation degree from any field. The college must be attended regularly for total benefit. The syllabus is not very difficult and anyone with basic knowledge can pursue it. After completing LL.B there are very high chances of a good career and financial freedom. One who is interested in law, judiciary and governance must pursue LL.B course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are highly educated professionals who have vast knowledge. Faculty is very kind and uses traditional methods of teaching which is highly satisfactory for students. All teachers are highly qualified in their field. Apart from this many visiting faculty conduct seminars in the college for students on various topics. Also moot courts are conducted which helps students to understand their subjects and gain practical experience.
 

Placement Rating
Yes there is a placement cell in the college. It offers internship opportunities to the students. Students who have already completed their internships before qualifications have greater chances of placements. College always encourages student to go for practical training.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes the college has a hostel. It is a basic hostel which is not very satisfactory. It is cleaned every once in a while. It opens and closes at regular timings. The fee is very concessional so any one can opt for the hostel. Not very great facilities are provided, it is a basic hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is not very big. A single building is constructed in the campus surrounded by other school of the institute. Benches are a bit old some fans work and some don’t. Washrooms are clean and clean drinking water is provided for the students. There is a lift but it is only for faculty. Parking and a small canteen is also available in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is very average. Not everyone regularly attends college. There are no clubs in the college. Some days are celebrated such as traditional day or some dance sessions are organised once in a while. No engagement activities are conducted in the campus and students should not expect much from it.
