Honest Review on Pimpri Chinchwad University

Overall Rating
I have been a student of Pimpri Chinchwad University since one year. I took admission in this university because of their legacy in the education field. Their centralised placement was one of the key attractions for me along with the promise of well qualified and experienced teachers. This one year has been quite a good experience in this university.
 

Academics Rating
As the university is new, there might not be any eligibility criteria. But there are some entrance exams conducted for admission. I am perusing B.Tech in Computer Science and the basic eligibility criterion is to pass 12th class with a minimum of 50%. All you require is the motive and curiosity to learn.
 

Faculty Rating
There are various dedicated faculties for each program and subject. The faculties are very friendly and practical. Some of them might give many assignments whereas others just believe in practical learning and performance practical assignments in class itself. Overall, their teaching is fine. One can expect a good curriculum and syllabus.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a centralised placement system for PCET. Time to time notices is given to us for placements. Also, essential seminars are conducted often.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are very spacious. All facilities are available such as room and bathroom cleaning, laundry, transportation, mess, club house, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, etc. There are dedicated companies assigned for hostel management.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is of a decent size, about 10 acres. We have 2 academic buildings and one admin building. There is also a hostel building which is currently under construction. Various grounds and courts are available such as a football ground, volleyball ground, etc. Our campus is green and in the core of nature.
 

Campus Rating
We don't have any organised club or societies for now. But there are a few fests and events such as the cultural fest and technical fest that are conducted occasionally. Festivals are celebrated with pomp and joy.

    I would highly recommend you to take admission in this University. The campus is really. The faculty and the staff are also good and they will treat you like their own kid. The University offers various opportunities to the students. It encourage student to participate in hackathons and other activities.
