Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College – One of the best colleges for academics

Overall Rating
One of the best colleges in Chennai. The placements are very good. This college is renowned for imparting discipline into students. Campus is very nature friendly but not very fancy. This college will impart discipline in every student. The best thing about this college is its placements.
 

Academics Rating
It is one of the best colleges in Chennai for doing B.Com. The fees are very low which is most suitable for middle class students. The eligibility for getting admission is getting good marks in 12th standard. As I am in 2nd year of B.Com (Accounting and Finance) course I can say that it is the best college for B.Com.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very highly qualified. The teaching style is very good. The faculties will help the students till their extent in clearing semester exams. The exams are conducted strictly. Faculty members in our department are good and very friendly.
 

Placement Rating
Placement opportunities are very good. Top companies like Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Sutherland, KPMG, etc. visit the college for recruiting students. Many banks, audit firms and companies have recruited students from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College. Many of my seniors have been placed in good companies with attractive packages. Being placed in a good company also requires the skill sets and knowledge of the candidate.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility will be given only to morning college students which are from other districts except Chennai and food will also be provided to them. Only vegetarian foods will be provided to the students here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is not quite good, but classrooms and labs are very good. The Campus is much smaller than other colleges in Chennai. There is only one canteen and only vegetarian items are provided here. The quality of food here is average.
 

Campus Rating
Only extracurricular activities that are related to academics are conducted here. No cultural events are conducted in the college. The students can roam freely around the campus. There are no restrictions on that. The college will bring successful people to motivate the students. NCC and NSS programs are held here in a very active manner.
