Post Graduate Government College for Girls – My Overall Views

Overall Rating
The college experience was very nice. It was very nice college and the staff is highly educated and friendly. There is so much discipline and the college environment is very safe. There are also many shops available inside the college. Teachers clear our doubts anytime we ask. There are so many students who got good placements through the on-campus placement program.
 

Academics Rating
The BCA course is a 3 year course in our college. The eligibility criteria for admission in our college are 60% for Chandigarh students. The admission is conducted online. Children who are interested in coding should apply for this course.
 

Faculty Rating
There are approximately 10-15 teachers for our BCA course in the college. They all are well educated and have higher degree of education. They all have done Ph.D. They come from well mannered and well educated background. Some teacher has very nice style of teaching.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is provided only to students who are from outside of Chandigarh. Parents and 2 local guardians are needed for formalities. The mess food is very nice and food quality is good. Hostel students are provided only 2 outing on Wednesday and Sunday for limited time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is good. Everything is available in our college. The benches are long and comfortable. There are 4 to 5 parks in our college. There are 2 blocks in our college. One is for IT students and other for all other courses. Our College has the best auditorium in whole Chandigarh.
 

Campus Rating
There are so many activities held in our college like annual function, annual athlete meet and much more. There are different fests that are held in our college every year such as Commence fest and IT fest. Students from other colleges are also invited here. Students also take part in youth festival. It was a wonderful experience in this college.

    Overall experience is good. Campus is clean and has anti ragging rule. Institute is good in sports and has many facilities.
