Buddha Institute of Pharmacy B.Pharm Review By Mansi Srivastava

Buddha Institute of Pharmacy is overall the finest college in Gorakhpur. It is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. It has achieved great success in recent years as the academic records are pretty good. It has a very good record of placement since many years, which is why I was so impressed when I got to know about this college. Also there are many extracurricular and co-curricular activities conducted here throughout the session. The faculty is utmost supportive and I feel so lucky to be a part of this college.

I'm enrolled in the course Bachelor of Pharmacy in this college. I got this college by counseling after qualifying UPCET competitive exam because it was the way to admission in technical colleges at that time. But now you can get admission here by qualifying CUET competitive exam. You should have Biology or Maths in 12th class to take admission in B.Pharm. Enrolling in a course like B.Pharm is overall a very good choice as it has a large scope in the medical and industrial fields. Also notably you have a variety of ways to make career in pharmacy, you can use the license for a medical store also and you can study hard and prepare for drug inspector, you can use your knowledge and degree to work in pharmaceutical industry. So, this is a totally recommended course to be enrolled in if you're interested in medical field.

Most of the faculty members are highly supportive here and very polite to students also. Although all the faculty members are highly educated and come from a very decent families. They are good in nature, not the best of course. But some teachers are honestly the best in nature. They support you in every way they can.

We have a placement cell. We have a good record of placement in the recent years. Most of the students have been placed in spectacular industries.

We have two separate hostels for boys and girls each. The hostels are situated in college campus only. Students have a very familiar environment in hostel also. The hostel has beds, fans, almirahs, proper electricity connections, water source, etc. everything a student needs to live there. Hostel students also enjoy separate functions other than those happen in overall college campus.

Our college has 1 block for pharmacy in the Buddha Group of Institutions and 5 other blocks each named different like Buddha Institute of Technology for B.Tech courses and Buddha Degree College for B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, etc. courses. The blocks are very attractive. Our campus has two grounds, lot of trees, and greenery. Our college has libraries, 2 canteens, and a lot of space all time available amenities, etc. Overall the best infrastructure in town.

The students in our college have been a massive success in recent years in study and academics as per the results and the placement records. Our college has two mega fests every year, the fresher’s party called as "Dyuti" and the annual function called as "Horizon". Other than that we celebrate every festival in college in each department in our own style and by our own efforts and with faculty's support. There are various clubs in our college like "Mukhauta" club for drama, "Monalisa" club for painting, Dance club, Singing club, etc. So, all the students are engaged in various activities throughout the whole session.
