The atmosphere around the college is magnificent. It is also registered as an autonomous college from 2024 to 2034. Students with nil arrears till 6th semester get referral to work or to be an intern with top companies. I have secured and internship at BMW.

Fee concession is provided for students according to 12th marks. Each department has its own laboratory for practical sessions with necessary equipment and instruments. College believes in providing experience along with the academics which is why it keeps conducting the events like industrial visit, voluntary medical camps (for Biomedical students), etc. in between the academic sessions.

Staffs members are very nice and friendly as they assist students whenever it is required. All of them are well-qualified with the experience of more than five years. Faculty members also conduct assessment test accordingly and give great advises about life.

Yes, the college provides placement to the students. Apart from this, it also conducts separate internship training sessions for the students.

Yes, DSCE provides accommodation facilities. Four people stay in each room and share a common washroom. All the rooms are furnished with basic living amenities like bed, table, chair and shelf for each student. Non-vegetarian food is available 3 times a week. Gym facilities are also available. Girls’ hostel is inside the campus and boys’ hostel is outside the campus.

DSCE has two buildings currently excluding hostel and canteen. Each department has their own labs for every department. New building is under construction. Basketball court, football ground, badminton court are present in the college. The college also has a well stocked library.

The college organizes multiple fests and events throughout the year. Some of the events are food fest (which is conducted occasionally), Tech fest, expo, cultural events and annual day. Special event called ‘Science Days’ is conducted once a year that goes on for 2 to 3 days. Festivals like Onam and Pongal is celebrated lavishly. Students of different culture live together and bring unity to the campus. The campus is completely ragging free.
