My experience at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology was good. I took admission in PSIT because of the good placements and also because it was in my hometown and I want to be with my parents. People from Kanpur should surely go for this college because it has good placements of about 5 to 6 Lakh average package and the highest package was 44.72 LPA in 2024 offered by Amazon.

My course is Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science Engineering so I would tell about it. The annual fee is Rs 1, 80,300. It is of 4 years duration. The admission in this college is through counseling and also through direct admission. In direct admission the students have to give a mock test of about hundred questions in MCQ format and on the basis of the marks scored by the student the college offers branches. While the students who perform exceptionally well in the mock test are offered Computer Science and Engineering core branch and the others who do not do well or perform average are given specializations of Computer Science and Engineering. The motive of enrolling in this program is to become a successful engineer and support family and the nation.

The faculty members are supportive and understanding and are highly qualified. Most teachers have clarity of speech and their teaching method is easy to understand. While others don't have a clarity of speech and are not easy to understand despite having so much of knowledge. Mostly the faculty members are from the northern states while some are from the southern states as well.

Yes, there is an incredible placement cell at our Institute. The college offers guidance to the students to secure good placement. That's why PSIT has good placements. According to the data in 2024 the average package of PSIT is 5 to 6 LPA while the highest package is 44.72 LPA offered by Amazon. The company which offers jobs to most number of students is Tata Consultancy Services and Mahindra. It gave job offers to about 208 students while Accenture offered jobs to about 131 students. About 2080 students graduated in our college with the placements that's a very good data. It has very good placement stats with respect to the location and most important being a private college.

The Hostel life is moderate as there are unnecessary rules that if not followed are subjected to fine imposed on students. Also the food available at mess is not that much good. Overall the rooms given to hostellers are AC rooms and non AC rooms that have different costs.

The college has a very good campus full of greenery and positive vibes. It consist of the Computer Science and Engineering Block, Pharmacy Block, Electronics and Communication Engineering Block, and Chemistry Block where students study courses like BBA, BCA, MBA and MCA. There is a big library for studying and thousands of books are available there. The campus is very beautiful and has so much greenery because of the large number of trees.

The campus life I would say is average. There are many clubs regarding the singing, dancing, innovation and many more. The main fest in our college is IGNITIA which is a popular fest in which special guests are inviting including famous singers. It provides opportunities for students for unleashing their talent.
