Sinhgad Law College BA+LLB Review By Shreya Chaturvedi

My overall experience at Sinhgad Law College in the city of Pune has been relatively decent. The college is spacious enough so that all the academic and non-academic activities can be performed in accordingly. The students can acquire appropriate quality of learning. One of the factors that made me apply for this college was the good management towards the issue of attendance. The college itself is neither very good nor very bad. The fees are fair the middle range which is catering to many students. Although, it is wise to set your expectations low. The college doesn’t offer much internship or jobsite. This is a college I preferred because it was allotted to me on grounds of my CET marks and secondly because I thought it was a reasonable option. This college seems to be an adequate option and is okay with hunting for or working in the chosen field independently.

The college offers various courses in the field of law, which includes: BA.LL.B (5years), LL.B (3years), Diploma course and CCFINMJ. Basic entry level requirements include MH CET LAW score and CAP registration. Student must have obtained minimum Marks as per the college enrollment requirement. Anyone who has given the MH-CET LAW exam is eligible for admission in the college. If you want to study related to the field of law then enroll in this college.

The college is mediocre but I must say the faculty is really good. They are really helpful. If you have doubt regarding any topic or subject you can go and ask the professors until 4:30 PM. Sometimes you might feel bored while attending lectures as the course is little bit theoretical. The professors in normal conversational language so that the concept is clear and thorough.

The major drawback of this college is that they do not have any prominent or working placement cell. This is the only drawback which I feel this college has.

Hotels are average. Altough the security there is good...but the hostel rules are very strict.

There is small infrastructure of college. Normal 2 floor building. The college doesn't have a moot court hall, seminar hall, reading hall, etc. The law college shares the building with the architecture college, so basically first two floors are law college and other floors are for Architecture College.

The crowd here is not so good. The institute conducts a lot of events. The events organised gets crowd from the institute and the society. You can find a lot of food options and places to eat.
