NIMS University BBA Review By Sakshi Purna

I chose NIMS University after knowing it through a friend. Then I moved forward to do my research over online platforms regarding the review of the university from which get to know about its total fees, infrastructure and university life. I chose this university because it was in my budget and the faculty in this university was very cooperative and have great expertise in the field of education.

I have done Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). In NIMS University, the eligibility criterion for this program was the entrance test that you need pass for the admission. My motive of joining this program was that it gives you knowledge related to the business environment and my aim was to achieve success in this field. My course consisted of 6 semesters in 3 years.

I had a teacher for Taxation who was a CA. He was very knowledgeable and was strict as well during the study time. At that time my principal was also teaching me Project Management subject, she was very cooperative and she teaches with great emphasis that attracts students toward her class. I had a Finance teacher who has expertise in this field and the knowledge he provided proved really beneficial outside the university also.

We get placement opportunities from different well known companies such as: JARO Education, AU Small Bank and many more. We have a different placement room were faculty guide us toward the companies coming for the interviews. At that time due to the world wide pandemic, less placement companies reached us. However, placement faculty had given full effort in placing students in right place for better future. There was a team made specifically for the purpose of placement.

Yes, in my university there were different hostels for boys and girls. These hostels also provided proper food to the hostlers. The infrastructure of the hostel was good with triple sharing to personal room also. Rooms were fully furnished. Each room consists of AC, personal bed and cabinet. Hostel life in the NIMS University was full of enjoyment along with security of the students.

In my university, different fests take place for the enjoyment of the students. During the Navratri every year they organize a big fest where student play dandiya night wearing traditional wear. Also fresher party and farewell party were organized at the starting and ending of the session. Engagement activities like playing badminton, cricket and different sports are played during the annual sports day. At some time University organize fest where different types of foods where provided and students dance and sing and enjoy their time there. There were different sport competitions that took place such as cricket tournaments, swimming competitions and many more.
